RIHANNA OPENS THE 2016 MTV VMAS WEARING HOOD BY AIR

Rihanna brought the house down at Madison Square Garden on Sunday evening.
RiRi opened the MTV VMAs, performing a medley of her biggest hits including "Diamonds" and "Where Have You Been." And of course, she kept it cool in a Hood by Air crew-neck tee by Shayne Olivier and white pants with a corset-like belt.

Hood by Air, known for its luxe streetwear, was founded by Olivier in 2006. The label has fans in Drake, A$AP Rocky, 2 Chainz and Kanye West. In 2015, HBA's Olivier won the Swarovski Award for menswear at the 2015 CFDA Awards.
No stranger to taking streetwear styles to the next level, the "Needed Me" singer proved once again she's the queen of turning any place into a runway.

The performer is slated to receive the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, following in the footsteps of previous recipients Beyonce and Kanye West. In addition to receiving the award show's highest honor, RiRi has also scored four nominations: best female video for "Work" featuring Drake; best male video as a featured act on Calvin Harris' "This Is What You Came For"; and two in the best collaboration category for the aforementioned singles.
The rest of the evening will also see epic performances by Britney Spears, Ariana Grande Nicki Minaj, Nick Jonas with Ty Dolla $ign, Future, and the Chainsmokers with Halsey.
After the VMAs, RiRi could be heading to Paris next, where she'll reportedly present her spring collection for Fenty x Puma.
