Kim Kardashian took to the VMAs red carpet tonight alongside husband Kanye West in a sexy, short black dress. While West has been given four minutes to do whatever he wants, Kardashian is on-hand to introduce Britney Spears’ first VMA performance in a decade.
The short dress features ruching and a provocative sheer panel in the front. Ribbons in the front panel pulled the hemline into a sexy “V” and the loose-fitting sleeves made for a sizzling off-the-shoulder look.
The effect was almost that of shapewear. Spanx anyone?
Kardashian completed the look with understated hair and makeup, going for a tousled, almost wet-hair look touched off by a nude lip. This was all enhanced by her subtle French tip manicure. The toned down make-up and hair are uncharacteristic for the reality star.
She accessorized with layered gold necklaces, a hot trend on this year’s VMA red carpet.
Prior to the VMAs, Kardashian polled her Twitter followers, asking them to help her select her outfit for the awards. They voted for a look with dark hair and a “dressy sexy” outfit, which she had on display here. Kardashian had previously teased her appearance on Twitter, writing that she isobsessed with the performer she’ll be presenting.
West accompanied her in a t-shirt bearing the word “Famous," in reference to his nominated video.
