The model was attacked in the streets in Milan on Thursday, September 22, as she and her sister, Bella, fought through paparazzi crowds after the Max Mara show. The alleged attacker, Vitalii Sediuk, approached Hadid from behind and lifted her up. As Bella rushed to help her sister, Gigi threw an elbow to Sediuk's face and freed herself. TMZ secured footage of the scary incident.
Security then stepped in, but not before Gigi hurled a few outraged comments at Sediuk, including, "Who the f-ck are you? You piece of sh-t!"
It's proof that Gigi is one badass boss who can defend herself.

Unfortunately, not everyone gave Gigi credit where credit was due for protecting herself when physically assaulted. Following the altercation, UK tabloids published images of the model paired with negative headlines like, "Not model behavior."
Several Twitter users came to Gigi's defense and criticized the publications for not applauding Hadid.
And Gigi herself chimed in to remind the world that she is an "actual human being" who also deserves personal space and respect. (Sadly, people seem to forget that.)
The alleged attacker, Sediuk, is a notorious celebrity prankster who has been arrested after accosting stars including, Miranda Kerr, Anna Wintour, Will Smith, Angelina Jolie, and Leonardo DiCaprio. Here's hoping he's learned his lesson and will stop invading people's personal space...
