Rob Kardashian Praises Blac Chyna for Something His Mom and Sisters Could Not Do For Him
Love really can conquer all.
At least this is the case for Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna. The reality star claims the model got him through his “darkest times.”
“I wasn't happy in my own skin. I missed out on so many things,” he told People magazine.
The Kardashian brother kept out of the public for almost two years as he battled depression and weight gain.
He even lost touch with his sisters and mom Kris Jenner during his “dark days.”
"There were definitely dark days for me, and I'm still not fully happy looking at myself in the mirror,” he added. “But I'm working towards that. And I'm happy."
"I've been friends with Chyna for a long time. She was someone I reached out to for advice. She would cook for me and we'd just talk.
“She's surrounded me with a lot of positivity. From the moment we met, I knew I wanted to be more than friends."
And now the happy couple is expecting their first child together and gearing up for their very own reality show. And Chyna says Rob is doing so much better.
"I saw Rob was willing to better himself. I had never wanted to be tough. I never wanted to change him."
Rob credits all this change to his fiancĂ©e, who has helped him get back in the public eye — and back into shape.
“Chyna definitely motivates me. Being with her got me over the insecurity of being out in public,” he added.
We’re so happy for them and can’t wait to see all the love on their new reality show, Rob & Chyna, which premieres Sunday, September 11 at 9 p.m. ET on E!.
