We never imagine a day like this would come. Regretting hair has catch Kate Middleton, the woman whose hair can do no wrong as far as the world is concerned. We're not talking about her latest hair length change. It's the bangs. The Duchess, who got her bangs back in the fall, is reportedly having second thoughts about them, supposedly calling her eye-framing pieces "mum fringe."
We get it. We've all made a hair switch or two that we later wish we had held off on, tried out via a wiglet first, or could go back in a time machine and stop. And bangs can truly be annoying when you're not used to them. They fall in your eyes. They often want to splay out at weird angles. They taunt you with their stubborn ability to somehow take nine years to grow out. But it seems harsh to call Middleton's a mom hairstyle, even if you use the more charming British word "mum." After all, they do frame her cheekbones nicely and create a bit of interest around her eyes when she wears the rest of it back in an updo.
All that said, the question is should she grow them out? Obviously, that's really up to her. She looks great either way, so we don't have a particular stance here. But if they're annoying her, life is too short and there are other ways to highlight your cheekbones (hello, strobing). Check out these side-by-side comparisons below to see how you feel about the situation. The good news is if she does want them gone, she can always pin them back in the meantime.
