Late Muhammad Ali's Son Left His Wife And Children After Inheriting Father's Wealth

Well this is definitely not the greatest.
Muhammad Ali, Jr., son of the late boxing legend, has reportedly suckerpunched his wife and children, leaving them high and dry after inheriting a portion of his late father’s fortune.

According to reports, Muhammad Ali, Jr. recently moved out of his home in the dangerous West Englewood section of Chicago and has headed for greener pastures in a middle-class neighborhood near Midway Airport, leaving his spouse, Shaakira and two daughters, Ameera, 8, and Shakera, 7 to continue living in the depressed area.

Muhammad Jr., who for the past decade has had to rely on public assistance and handouts to provide for his family, inherited his share of $80 million after a California sit down with his father’s widow, Lonnie Ali, last month where the famed athlete’s assets were divvied up evenly between his nine children.

It was initially speculated that settling the fighter’s massive estate was going to be an extremely tense, acrimonious situation. However, the process was seemingly resolved without major contention.
According to a source, Muhammad Jr. did share some of his newfound wealth before dumping his family. "He gave his wife $75 to buy herself something nice and bought the kids new shoes," the insider says. "He also wants to set up a trust fund for his kids.”
Jr., the champ’s only biological son, was estranged from his father for several years prior to his passing and blames his stepmother for shutting him out.
Muhammad Ali passed away June 3 at age 74 after a lengthy battle with Parkinson’s disease.
