Someone Has Destroyed Donald Trump's Walk of Fame star and Police are Investigating It

The Los Angeles police are investigating the vandalizing of Donald Trump's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame following a report that the sidewalk tribute was smashed with a sledgehammer.

Det. Meghan Aguilar says investigators were called to the scene before dawn Wednesday.

Deadline Hollywood reports a man named Jamie Otis said he vandalized the star, and he originally intended to remove it altogether. The site reports Otis wanted to auction it off to raise funds for the 11 women accusing the GOP presidential candidate of groping them. Trump has denied the groping allegations.

Trump’s star on the Walk of Fame was awarded to him in 2007.

Back in April, it was vandalized with a swastika. The incident sparked rumors that the star would be removed from the Walk of Fame, but the organization’s president, Leron Gubler, said at the time that the rumors were untrue.
