The makeup mogul is reportedly spending all her time on a new solo reality show and is fed up with her family piggybacking on her fame for the E! show's ratings.
According to Radar Online, the mom of two is done singlehandedly reeling in viewers for KUWTK and is ready to take on her own TV project.
The reality star is reportedly producing a hot, new competition series, and it sounds both grueling and glamorous.
The series, titled Glam Masters, will pit makeup artists and beauty bloggers against each other to find the middle Kardashian sister's next glam squad.
The E! star will serve as executive producer. Other team members include the producers behind The Real Housewives of New York.
As for why the 36-year-old is suddenly so interested in TV, a source for the site revealed that Kim has been extra jealous of her sisters' recent solo on-screen ventures.
Specifically, Kim's got envy for Kylie Jenner (whose new E! docuseries, Life of Kylie, will debut in July) and Khloe Kardashian, who began hosting Revenge Body in January.
According to the source, Kim is ready to break free from the Kardashian clan and make her own TV name, which might be why she's trying to distance herself from KUWTK.
“She’s really pushing it because she wants to do her own thing,” the insider said. “Kylie has her own show, and Khloe has had two now."
“Kim will be very involved. She wants to have a big role," another source told the site.
Glam Masters will begin filming in July and is currently accepting applications. The show will air on Lifetime. No premiere date has been set.
