Bob Weinstein(Harvey Weinstein's Brother) Sells Upper West Side Brownstone

Weinstein purchased the home in May 2009 for $15 million and then put the five-story home through a meticulous restoration.

Bob Weinstein has sold his Upper West Side brownstone that was on the market with an asking price of $18 million.
The sale of the property comes as the Weinstein Company is reeling from a string of sexual assault accusations involving Bob's brother, Harvey Weinstein, which have engulfed the company and are threatening to destroy it.

Weinstein purchased the home in May 2009 for $15 million and then undertook a meticulous restoration of the five-story, 6,608-square-foot property at 309 West 70th Street, which was put on the market in February for $19 million. The price was then reduced to $17.9 million and sold last week, according to a report issued by the brokerage firm Olshan Realty.
The five-bedroom, five-bath residence (with three half baths) has five gas fireplaces, with multiple outdoor spaces including a rear garden patio, two balconies and a roof deck. The renovation focused on restoring period-correct wood paneling, moldings and fixtures. The garden floor has a large recreation room, den and attached laundry room that links to the back patio.
Deborah Grubman and David Adler at the Corcoran Group have the listing. A spokesperson for Corcoran declined to comment.
Over the weekend Harvey Weinstein was expelled from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences after dozens of allegations surfaced accusing him of predatory behavior including sexually harassing, assaulting and even raping women.
