"I want you not to teach me lies" little Black boy writes note criticizing his White teacher after a history lesson he disagree with

An elementary school pupil challenged his teacher after she taught a history class which he felt was not accurate.

After the class on Monday, Jan 22, King Johnson wrote a scathing note to his teacher, letting her know that she was teaching him lies. He then went on to tell her what he believes is the truth.

King wrote :"Today was not a good learning day. Blah blah blah, I only wanted to hear you not talking. You said something wrong and I can't listen when I hear lies. My mom said that the only Christopher we acknowledge is Wallace. Because Columbus didn't find our country, the Indians did. I like to have Columbus day off but I want you to not teach me lies. This is all. My question for the day is how can white people teach black history?

He then signed off with "King Johnson."

His teacher, after reading King's class journal, wrote: "King I am very disappointed in your journal today."

And the cheeky boy actually replied! "Ok," at the foot of the note.
