Jack Ma, the founder and executive chairman of the Alibaba Group spoke openly and at length about some of the key challenges facing the world at the ongoing 2018 World Economic Forum on Davos, Switzerland.
Former Finance Minster, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala shared excerpts from his speech on women in business during a panel discussion on Wednesday. He said:
“37% of senior management in Alibaba are women. Part of the secret sauce of our success is because we have so many women colleagues. If you want your company to be successful, if you want your company to operate with wisdom, with care, then women are best!”
On the key to success, he said:
"To gain success a person will need high EQ; if you don't want to lose quickly you need a high IQ, and if you want to be respected you need high LQ-the IQ of love."
