It’s no secret that our chosen hairstyle plays a big role in how people see us.
Just look at these folks who changed their hair and completely overhauled their entire look because of it. And while trying out a new ‘do can be nerve-racking enough, revealing it to our friends, family, and significant others can be even more anxiety-inducing. What if they don’t like it?

Twitter user praizekirkwood’s mom Dawne had spent two decades growing out her hair, so it stood to reason that when she decided to cut it all off, she was worried what her husband would think.
Praizekirkwood probably suspected that her dad would have a strong reaction — good or bad, so when her mom came home for the big reveal, she took out her camera and started filming.

“After 20 years of growing her dreads my mom wanted to cut off her hair. She wasn’t sure how my dad would react tho…but this is how he did,” she captioned the emotional video.
Before the reveal, Dad stood with his back facing his wife. Dawne briefly checked to make sure her husband wasn’t peeking and snuck into the room.

When he turned around, the look on his face was a mix of love, lust, and overwhelming joy!

His reaction to her bold new look was everything Dawne could have hoped for. “You’re so hot!” he exclaimed, saying she looked like a Hollywood star.

And we couldn’t agree more! She looks beautiful and so happy with her new cut. Twitter users sounded off, remarking that Dad’s reaction was “SO CUTE” and that Mom looked “sexy.”
