Sen. Graham is predicting that 2018 Will Be a Year of 'Extreme Danger' (video)

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) on Sunday warned that 2018 will be a year of "extreme danger" as the United States faces mounting tensions with North Korea and Iran.

Graham, who recently predicted a 70-percent chance that Trump will use the military option against North Korea if the rogue regime conducts another nuclear test, said President Trump has drawn a line with dictator Kim Jong Un.

"He's told the North Koreans, 'I will deny you the capability to hit America with a nuclear-tipped missile.' If they test another bomb, they're closer to having that capability," Graham said on CBS's "Face the Nation." "Now, the Iranians are watching us in North Korea. North Korea's watching us in Iran. 2018 will be a year of opportunity and extreme danger."

“We’ve got a chance here to deliver some fatal blows to some really bad actors in 2018. But if we blink, God help us all,” he continued.

Graham also warned that sanctions will never completely work against a dictator like Kim without the credible threat of military force.

"How do you change a man’s behavior who’s willing to kill his own family, torture his own people to stay in power?” Graham said. “The only way he’ll change his behavior [is] if he believes Donald Trump would use military force to destroy his regime. And the Iranians are watching how Trump deals with North Korea."
