If the Oscar-nominated film Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri needed a lighthearted sequel, Serena Williams' family has it covered. The tennis champ's husband recently put up four billboards outside Palm Springs, California to celebrate the star athlete's return to tennis.
To make his grand gesture even sweeter, the massive ads feature adorable photos of their daughter, Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr., and praise Williams for being an amazing mom. "Greatest Momma of All Time (G.M.O.A.T.)," the signs read.
The new mom saw the billboards yesterday while heading into Indian Wells, California, where she'll compete in the BNP Paribas Open next month, Us Weekly reports. She also shared her reaction in the comments of her husband's Instagram post. "Literally am crying. This is so sweet. Love you," she wrote to Ohanian, 34, whom she wed in November.
Williams comments on Ohanian’s photos of the billboards dedicated to her.
Williams, 36, began her maternity leave from competitive tennis in April 2017—the day after (accidentally) announcing her pregnancy. She slowly returned to the court after giving birth to her daughter in September. Two months later, she participated in a tennis exhibition in Abu Dhabi, which she lost. Though she withdrew from the 2018 Australian Open, Williams played in the Fed Cup earlier this month in North Carolina.
Little Olympia was present for her matches on February 10 and 11. The five-month-old sat in her father's lap and supported her mom from the sidelines.

Despite Williams losing at the Fed Cup, she said feels hopeful about her comeback. "I honestly feel better than I thought I was going to feel," she told the New York Times. "I feel like I’m on the right track for me."
Win or lose, we're looking forward to seeing Alexis Jr. cheer on her mom in matches to come.
