Don’t worry, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. have been the perfect couple since day one.
Freddie just spilled on the duo’s first date and it’s cuter than anyone could imagine.
The dad of two fell in love with his future wife for her appetite!
“A lot of girls back then in Hollywood as far as the actresses, they didn’t eat, they ate salad,” Freddie, 40, tells People.
The Back to the Kitchen author knows this for sure, since he dated “a handful of them” back in the day.
“They would never eat what I would eat,” he continues. “You have to have that in common with me if we’re going to get along.”
Luckily, Sarah, now 39, didn’t have an issue chowing down with the eventual father of her children.
When Freddie went to dinner with the Buffy beauty, “she ate everything, including a crab that they let walk across the counter.”
And she snacked on the crustacean in a way that would make Fear Factor producers proud.
“[She killed it] while it was alive in some oil and said, ‘It’s popcorn, try,’” the 24 alum reveals. “And she ate it without even blinking, and I was like, ‘Yo, my girl is legit.'”
And that, ladies and gentleman, is how a strong marriage is built.
