Taylor Swift Honors 'America's Got Talent' Winner Grace VanderWaal With Flowers

Her No. 1 fan! Grace VanderWaal has had a lot to celebrate since she was crowned the season 11 winner of America's Got Talent on Wednesday, September 14 — including a sweet gift from her idol Taylor Swift.
The 12-year-old singer-songwriter, who judge Simon Cowell called "the next Taylor Swift" during her first audition, received an oversize bouquet of flowers from the "Shake It Off" singer, 26, following her epic win on Wednesday night's season finale.

A surprised VanderWaal shared an adorable video of her reaction to Swift's gift on Twitter on Friday, September 16, writing, "Words can not explain how honored I am for this.. thank. You. SOOOOOOO MUCH!!!! @taylorswift13."

In the cute clip, the newly crowned AGT winner jumps up and down while screaming with excitement.

VanderWaal received a great deal of praise from judges and viewers alike throughout season 11 of the NBC reality competition series. During her first audition, judge Howie Mandel used his Golden Buzzer to send VanderWaal straight through to the live shows.
After the preteen's win Wednesday, she reveals that she was honored by the Swift comparisons. "To even have someone think about comparing me to someone like that is just truly a blessing," VanderWaal said.
Cowell, 56, meanwhile, said that he believes VanderWaal has a bright future ahead of her. "I think when you're that age and you want to be a pop star, you gotta have trust," he explained. "She finished her performance and I went up to her and I said, 'Not many people I trust in this world, but I trust you.' What she did tonight was incredible."
