Chris Brown could face 6-month in jail over his pet monkey he lacks permit to own. The Monkey Has Been Seized

California Fish and Wildlife agents seized Chris Brown’s pet capuchin monkey from his Los Angeles home Friday.

Investigators determined the singer didn’t have a permit for the animal he named Fiji, Capt. Patrick Foy said.

Brown posted an Instagram video last month of his 3-year-old daughter, Royalty, cuddling with the pet.

But online comments followed, with critics saying the monkey belonged in the wild and that Fiji could be a danger to his daughter.

Brown reacted with a "chill out" message at the time, TMZ reported.

Foy said the video prompted six calls to the wildlife department from people concerned about the animal. He said Brown agreed to cooperate.

Agents executed a search warrant at Brown’s home Jan. 2, Foy said, adding that Brown wasn’t there but had his employees hand over the monkey in a cage.

Brown could face a misdemeanor charge carrying a potential six-month jail sentence.

Fiji was sent to an undisclosed facility.

The case has been turned over to the L.A. city attorney, TMZ reported.

“(N)ow spending taxpayer money on investigating monkey business, this completes the circle on his absurdity,” Brown’s lawyer, Mark Geragos, told TMZ.

Email and phone message requests for comment from Brown’s representatives weren’t immediately returned.

Rihanna and Brown famously dated before splitting in 2009 after Brown assaulted the singer, leaving her bloodied and bruised, the night before the Grammys that year.

Twitter users recalled the abuse while discussing the Instagram comment, with one tweeting, “Chris Brown is a poster child of abuse in every sense of the word.”

Chris Brown Fights Soulja Boy Because of Karrueche Tran

The first beef of 2017. Chris Brown and Soulja Boy got into a feud on social media on Monday, January 2, over Brown's ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran.

The fight ignited after the "Crank That" rapper, 26, liked a photo of Tran, 28, on Instagram. "Chris brown just called me and said he wanna fight me because I liked @karrueche picture on Instagram this n---a a bitch," Soulja Boy wrote on Twitter on Monday night.

"Aye @chrisbrown pull up n---a I'll knock yo Bitch Ass out," he continued. "F--k @chrisbrown. That n---a @chrisbrown better not tweet s--t with his p--sy ass. He called my phone trippin so now I'm trippin F--k n---a. Fruits!"

Soulja Boy then brought up Brown's tumultuous relationship with ex Rihanna as well as his previous legal trouble. "Chris Brown think he hard cuz he hit a woman," the rapper tweeted. "And jumped a fan at his house party on New Years lmao u can't fight Bitch do that s--t to me."

Brown, 27, responded on Instagram with a series of videos and memes poking fun at his nemesis. In one, Brown mentioned his 2-year-old daughter, Royalty, saying, "Happy New Year! Royalty is 2 and has 5 times more money than Soulja Boy already. I'd be mad too."

The "Grass Ain't Greener" singer also slammed Soulja Boy for dragging Rihanna, 28, into the spat, saying, "This s--t is beneath me. I want to bring black people together, but you gotta get your ass whooped, my n---a. Because at the end of the day, what's the first joke you had? The Rihanna joke, my n---a? I was 17. I'm 27 now. You can get a grown man ass whoopin'."

The feud continued on Tuesday, January 3, when Tran responded, writing in a since-deleted Instagram post: "First off this drama between the both of these two is so ridiculous it makes no sense. We just brought in a new year and this is what we doing?? ... This isn't cool or funny.. it's draining.. not just for me.. but for everyone. There's so much more out there in life then 'twitter beefs.' ... I been chillen.. working.. eating my veggies.. hitting these squats and minding my own business and that's exactly how I want to keep it."

Moments later, Brown replied to his ex's post, writing, "NOONE ASKED FOR THIS OPINION!!! IT AINT OVER YOU!! GIRL KEEP THE FAME YOU GOT AND STAY CLASSY! ... IM SO SICK OF N---AS COMING AT ME LEFT AND RIGHT AND NOW SHE WANNA CHIME IN. NOBODY GIVES A F—K. ... ALL YOUR FRIENDS ARE YOUR FRIENDS BECAUSE YOU WAS CHRIS BROWNS GIRL! And just when we thought it was over, Soulja Boy chimed in again, tweeting, "F--k Chris brown. We not the same."

Brown and Tran dated on and off for four years until March 2015, when the model called it quits after finding out the singer had fathered his daughter, Royalty, with another woman while they were together.

Ray J Blasts Ex Kim Kardashian in A New Song Titled "Famous"

Ray J has some choice words about Kim Kardashian in a new song track called "Famous" featuring Chris Brown.

The single off Ray J's upcoming album Raydemption pretty clearly calls out his mega-famous reality star-turned-mogul ex, with reference to their 2003 sex tape that leaked in 2007.

On the Drumma Boy-produced track, he raps, "She f—ed me for fame, look in her eyes/ She was the first one to sign on the line/ She was the real one to plan it all out/ Look at the family, they walk around proud/ All because she had my dick in her mouth."

As it's clearly now Ray J's turn to piggyback off Kardashian's fame with this diss track, it's no coincidence the song shares a title with his ex's husband Kanye West's "Famous," which name-dropped Ray J and featured nude wax likenesses of him and Brown in its music video. Last month, Ray J told Billboard he was responding to West's work with his own song with the same name.

"You can't fault me and Chris for responding to all the things that have been done about us [in the media] over the last few months," he said.

As for Brown's involvement, his sentiments are slightly broader on the song's hook where he sings, "I know that you cry when you’re going to sleep every damn night/ I'll f— around and make another one famous."

Ray J was at Brown's home in Tarzana, Calif., in August when Brown was charged with assault with a deadly weapon after a woman visitor accused him of pointing a gun at her.

Chris Brown Failed To Stand For National Anthem and Got Into Argument During Charity Function (UPDATE)

UPDATE (9/12/2016 10:35 a.m. ET):

Along with not standing for the national anthem, Chris Brown got into an argument at the Power 106 Celebrity Basketball Game on Sunday, September 11.

The singer got into a heated exchange with a spectator in the stands and one of the officers at the event could be heard saying in footage of the incident, "I don't care who's here, get it straight," sources told TMZ. 

While he was slammed for protesting “The Star Spangled Banner,” Breezy didn’t seem to care and posted a photo of himself on Instagram with the caption, “Dodging this bulls—t like.”

Chris Brown refused to stand during the national anthem on Sunday, September 11 at a charity basketball game in Los Angeles.

The singer joined the protest started by NFL football quarterback Colin Kaepernick that focuses on bringing awareness to racial inequality.

R&B singer Tank performed “The Star Spangled Banner” and asked everyone to stand up and honor the men and women who lost their lives 15 years ago during the terrorist attacks.

While the rest of the crowd rose, the 27-year-old remained seated on the floor and joked around with those around him.

Many people were unhappy with Breezy’s decision to stay seated and vented their frustrations on Twitter.

The father of one has been involved in a great deal of controversy recently — he was just arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon after a woman accused him of pointing a gun to her head.

Chris has been adamant about his innocence and insists the woman, Baylee Curran, is framing him.

Also, while initial reports said his daughter Royalty was present, the “Next to You” singer says it’s not true and the 2-year-old was not at his home during the incident.

UPDATE (9/1/2016 10:33 a.m. ET): An alleged text message could exonerate Chris Brown and prove that his accuser, Baylee Curran, is lying about him threatening her with a gun.

An acquaintance named Safari claims Baylee sent him the below message at 2:57 a.m. local time on August 30, the morning of the incident.

"Hey safari don't you know this freak Chris brown is kicking me out of his house because I called his friend jewelry fake can you come get me my Uber is messing up if not I'm going to set him up and call the cops and say that he tried to shoot me and that will teach him a lesson I'm going to set his ass up. Lol come get me."

Then again, Safari also says Baylee stole a Rolex from him and hasn't spoken to him in nearly a year.

TMZ says Chris Brown's lawyer has the alleged text and is trying to authenticate it.

The hotel’s security personnel gave chase, and Baylee allegedly dropped the purse but kept the contents: credit cards, $200 in cash, and a Michael Kors wallet.

Now the NYPD wants Baylee for questioning, the theft victim has filed a restraining order against her in Los Angeles, and Baylee’s rep says a friend is the one who stole the purse and Baylee had no idea she is a suspect.
