Donald Trump is Retweeting Anti-Muslim videos posted by UK First deputy leader

Donald Trump has retweeted three anti-Muslim videos posted by far-right group Britain First.

The group's deputy leader Jayda Fransen, who posted the unverified clips, claims one of them shows a Muslim destroying a statue of the Virgin Mary.

She claims the other two videos show attacks carried out by other Muslims.

The 31-year-old from Penge, southeast London, reacted with delight to the retweets, posting: "God bless you Trump! God bless America!"

After sharing the posts with his 43.6m Twitter followers, Mr Trump fired off three other tweets praising the US stock market, suggesting a boycott of "fake news CNN" and commenting on the sacking of NBC presenter Matt Lauer.

Britain First has attracted a sizeable online following by posting incendiary videos and staging a number of protests.

The group's leader, Paul Golding, was jailed for eight weeks in December 2016 for breaching a court order telling him not to enter a mosque or encourage others to do so.

He and his deputy were due to appear at Folkestone Magistrates' Court on Wednesday for a hearing ahead of a trial scheduled for 29 January over allegations of religiously aggravated abuse in Canterbury and Ramsgate, Kent.

She is also due in court in Northern Ireland in December charged with using threatening and abusive language in connection with a speech she made at an anti-terrorism demonstration in Belfast on 6 August.

Last year, MPs called for Britain First to be proscribed as a terrorist organisation after the murder of MP Jo Cox, who was killed by a right-wing extremist shouting "Britain first".
Ms Cox's widower Brendan said Mr Trump "should be ashamed of himself" for retweeting the Britain First videos.
He tweeted: "Trump has legitimised the far-right in his own country, now he's trying to do it in ours."
Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn called on the Government to respond to the posts.
He said: "I hope our Government will condemn far-right retweets by Donald Trump. They are abhorrent, dangerous and a threat to our society."

Paul Golding, leader of Britain First, and the party's deputy leader, Jayda Fransen, arrive at the Royal Courts of Justice in central London, where he is appearing in connection with an alleged breach of an injunction, relating to his activities around mosques.

MP David Lammy said the US President had "gone beyond the pale", adding that he was "promoting a fascist, racist, extremist hate group whose leaders have been arrested and convicted".
Former shadow business secretary Chuka Umunna described the retweets as "quite shocking".
He told Sky News: "Words do not do justice to this, he is normalising hatred. I think that takes us down a very dangerous road and you have got to call it out."
Meanwhile, TV presenter Piers Morgan, who has called himself a friend of Mr Trump, urged the President to "stop this madness and undo your retweets".

Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik Celebrate Eid al-Adha With Their Moms

A family celebration! Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid spent time celebrating the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Adha with their mothers this week.

The 22-year-old fashion model’s mom, Yolanda Hadid, shared a photo of the foursome on Instagram on Friday, September 1. “❤️ Eid Mubarak to everyone celebrating…….,” she captioned the cute pic of them huddled up together.

The “Pillowtalk” singer, 24, beamed in a Rage Against the Machine T-shirt alongside his mom, Trisha Malik, who also shared the pic on her own Instagram account, writing, “❤️Eid Mubarak to everyone... #BlessedDay

The phrase “Eid Mubarak” is a Muslim greeting meaning “blessed celebration” and Eid al-Adha — also referred to as “Feast of the Sacrifice” — is considered the holiest of Muslim holidays.

The Victoria’s Secret model’s father, Mohamed, was born in Palestine and immigrated to the U.S. when he was a teenager. Meanwhile, the “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever” singer was born in England to a British mother and British Pakistani father.

“I take a great sense of pride — and responsibility — in knowing that I am the first of my kind, from my background,” Malik told the London Evening Standard in June of his faith. “I’m not currently practicing but I was raised in the Islamic faith, so it will always be with me, and I identify a lot with the culture. But I’m just me. I don’t want to be defined by my religion or my cultural background.”

Report Says Genital Mutilation Still Happening in The US, Activists Call on States to Criminalize It

Every day, an estimated 8,000 girls worldwide are cut and marred in a debilitating process known as female genital mutilation, or FGM.

But survivors and experts stress that this is not a faraway human rights violation. A portion of it is happening right here in the United States of America.

“Not a day goes by where I am not contacted by a girl who has been cut in this country, or forced to visit another country to have it done,” Jaha Dukureh, an infant FGM survivor, activist and founder of the support and educational foundation Safe Hands for Girls, told Fox News. “Sometimes, it is doctors performing it under the guise of plastic or vaginoplasty procedures, or in quiet and underground settings.”

Jaha Dukureh, FGM survivor, activist and founder of "Safe Hands for Girls" campaigns for U.S lawmakers to do more to end the inhumane practice.

According to the Centers for Disease Control, more than half a million girls in the United States have endured, or remain at risk, of suffering FGM – a threefold uptick from their 1990 projection. FGM is considered a cultural practice that ensures “a girl’s purity and eligibility for marriage,” and typically involves the partial or complete extraction of the external female genitalia.

“There are many who are secretly doing it here in the USA,” noted Wahid Boctor, an Egyptian-American and former Director of Arab-American Television. “It is done very secretly and mostly women who do to their kids or grand kids.”

Beyond the brutality of the ritual procedure itself and the chance of death, FGM has a string of long-term consequences – from the physical to the psychological. Complications include sexual dysfunction, incontinence and increased risk of HIV transmission.

NYPD is Now Been Blamed By Sister of Muslim Woman Involved in 'Trump' Hate Crime Hoax

The sister of a woman charged in New York City for filing a false police report about drunk men on a subway train yelling "Trump" and "terrorist" at her blames the NYPD for bringing the alleged lie to light.

Sara Seweid said the police never should have investigated her sister's claims because law enforcement's "first instinct" is to doubt and then disprove accusations, the New York Post reported:

"Things snowballed out of our control because of the media… reporters made things so much worse for our family.”

“I had more than one cop tell me that they’ve looked through all our social media… and it doesn’t look good that we’ve been vocal about certain issues they perceive to be anti -trump, anti-white and even anti-men.”

Yasmin Seweid of New Hyde Park, N.Y. said that on December 1, a group of inebriated white men began yelling "Trump, Trump!", "Go back to your country!" and "Terrorist!" at her on a late-night subway train.

Further investigation brought authorities to the conclusion that Yasmin Seweid fabricated the encounter and they subsequently charged her with filing a false report and obstructing government administration.

Yasmin Seweid admitted she made up the story because she did not want to be in trouble with her family for staying out late, Abby Huntsman reported.

Prior to her arrest, Seweid also allegedly ran away to her sister's home in upstate Fishkill, sparking a manhunt, the Post reported.

Saudi Arabia's Grand Mufti Declares Iranians are not Muslims

Saudi Arabia's top cleric has declared that Iran's leaders are not Muslims and regard Sunni Muslims as their enemy.
Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdul-Aziz ibn Abdullah Al ash-Sheikh was responding to Iran's supreme leader, who denounced Saudi Arabia's handling of the annual Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca.

The Grand Mufti said the claims of the Iranian Ayatollah were "not surprising" and accused Iran's leaders of being Zoroastrians, an ancient pre-Islamic Iranian religion.
Saudi Arabia's population is nearly 90 per cent Sunni and has long been at odds with the 95 per cent Shia Iran - two denominations that have been in conflict since the 7th century.
In remarks published on Wednesday, Sheikh Abdul-Aziz Al ash-Sheikh said: "We must understand these are not Muslims.
"They are the son of the Magi and their hostility towards Muslims is an old one, especially with the People of the Tradition [Sunnis]."
Iran's Ayatollah Ali Khamenei accused the Saudis on Monday of "murdering" pilgrims caught up in the stampede during last year's Hajj.
