Due to an Emergency Amber Heard had Missed Her Deposition

We now know why Amber Heard missed her deposition for her domestic violence and divorce case against Johnny Depp — well, sort of.
The 30-year-old actress was unable to travel from England to Los Angeles — where the deposition was set to be heard today, August 12 — for an unspecified “emergency.”
Legal documents obtained by TMZ were also vague, stating, “To no fault of her own, Amber was unable to arrange for a flight to travel from London.”

Amber's lawyers went on to allege Johnny's legal representatives have been "waging a malicious war against Amber ...  in an effort to intimidate and discourage her from telling the truth.
“It is a disturbing shame that Johnny’s lawyers continue to pursue a relentless personal attack on Amber.”
In addition, a letter attached to the filing — dated August 11 — accused the 53-year-old actor of reneging on a settlement agreement.
The American actress is fighting for a permanent restraining order against her estranged husband, while he continues to deny all allegations.

The deposition has made major waves in the media after initial reports claimed the Danish Girlactress refused to testify at the August 6 deposition.
Following those reports, a source clarified “She [Amber] was ready to proceed. She never refused to go in.”
Now, recent news claims the actress has new evidence — including a photograph that has not been made public — of the alleged abuse.
According to E! News, the deposition has been rescheduled for Saturday, August 13 and the court hearing has been scheduled for Wednesday August 17.
We certainly hope the truth is revealed soon.
