Just days after her rumored breakup with 29-year-old boyfriend Casper Smart, Jennifer Lopez appears to be speaking out about the split.
The 47-year-old shared a photo of herself to Instagram on Friday, August 26, as she poses next to some street art reading, "Protect yo heart." Is J. Lo trying to tell us that she's staying strong amid her most recent breakup?
It certainly looks that way. The "Ain't Your Mama" singer dated her former backup dancer off and on for nearly five years, but by her making such a strong statement in her post, it seems like she really is ready to move on.
Someone who's not ready to move on, however, is Jennifer's ex, Sean "Diddy" Combs. The rapper and mogul is facing rumors that he and girlfriend Cassie have split, but the 46-year-old is trying to put any talk of a breakup to rest.
Puffy posted a slideshow showing photos of the pop star in honor of her 30th birthday on August 26. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY! @cassie I LOVE YOU ALWAYS. GOD BLESS YOU," the vodka promoter captions the video.
Although it looks like J. Lo is single again, Diddy most certainly is not. So any fans hoping to ship these two old flames are going to have to keep dreaming for now.
