Well, the exes might just reconcile… through a musical collaboration, that is.
Selena started the duet gossip with one very sneaky Snapchat video.
The 24-year-old shared a two-second clip of herself giggling on a bed while a track can be heard playing in the background.
The unidentified song sounds like the brunette beauty singing the eponymous lyrics of DJ Snake’s upcoming single “Let Me Love You.”
When the DJ teased a short snippet of the tune last week, none other than Selena’s ex-boyfriend Justin, 22, was performing the lead vocals.
The two videos put together instantly gave birth to conspiracy theories claiming “Let Me Love You” would end up being the first-ever official duet between SelGo and JB.
Snake even helped fan the flames of the rumors by tweeting a heart at the “Same Old Love” singer.
But the 30-year-old eventually shut down the speculation in a now-deleted tweet, where he reportedly explained Selena recorded her own separate version of the song.
While it’s unknown if the Texan pop star’s version will ever be released, DJ Snake can easily create a Jelena collab with a few strokes of a Mac keyboard.
