It took a while, but Jordan Rodgers’s ex-girlfriend is finally showing those receipts she promised!
Way back in May during the Bachelorette 2016 premiere, Brittany Farrar put her former NFL playing beau on blast on social media, calling him a cheater and fame hungry.
We waited patiently for the personal trainer (and Olivia Munn’s pal) to follow up with details in the following weeks, but she was surprisingly radio silent — until now.
In the late hours of August 18, Brittany returned with a vengeance, providing proof JoJo Fletcher’snow-fiancé was unfaithful to her during their entire relationship.
“After our breakup, I was surprised to find out what a prolific liar and cheater #JordanRodgers was during our entire 3 1/2 year-relationship,” she captions a post about her reality star ex. “But what has surprised me even more is how he has carelessly bashed and lied about me in public. I guess he thought I wouldn't stand up for myself. #HeWasWrong”
She continues in the lengthy open letter, “With the power of a press tour, his lies reached our hometown. His choice has become other people's consequences. So if I don't have a choice in whether people back home are talking about me, then I might as well have my voice in this.”
The letter is certainly scathing, alleging his “recent fame is built on tearing down people,” including both her and his own family, but it’s the ensuing (now deleted) posts that were really revealing.
With two photos, the Nashville-based gal provided solid evidence of Jordan’s cheating, showing a purchase order for a bouquet of roses purchased for the girl he allegedly had an affair with while shooting his cameo in Pitch Perfect 2.
“Happy Birthday to my Favorite Bella,” the message accompanying the flowers reads. “Miss you. Can't Wait to To See That Beautiful Smile Again. From, Your Favorite Football Player Wanna Be Actor.”
Note the mention of a “Bella,” aka one of the Barden Bellas in the movie. She doesn’t provide a name of the girl the former athlete was supposedly hooking up with, but that does give a hint at the identity.
Accompanying the order is another photo — a screenshot of Brittany’s texts with the 27-year-old hunk at the same time (late June 2014), showing the two first arguing over his failing to text her after a late night “filming.
Then, days later, he texts he’s “depressed” and “losing a s—t load of weight” because she won’t talk to him.
“Good morning love of my life,” Jordan follows up days later. “Just letting you know I’m not giving up.”
Whether you agree or disagree with Brittany’s methods, you can’t argue they’re effective. And she maintains she would not have had to had to do this if he hadn’t “dragged our relationship into the spotlight.”
“If you weren't ready to be truthful about your life then you shouldn't have gone on a reality show,” she concludes. “And if you don't like having your integrity questioned, you shouldn't have lied about someone who's parents always taught her to stand up for herself.”
