Celebs sounded off on their love for Rosie O'Donnell during the debate Monday night after Hillary Clinton brought up the derogatory comments Donald Trump has made about women including Rosie and Megyn Kelly. "I think everybody would agree that she deserves it," the Republican nominee said of his insulting Rosie remarks (via ET), "and nobody feels sorry for her."
Chelsea Handler tweeted, Nobody puts Rosie in the corner. #Debates," while Lena Dunham pointed out it was, "A beautiful thing when a big boy bully shows his soft terrified underbelly," before adding a little snark with, "Hillary & Rosie, why you gotta be so mean?" Sherri Shepherd also took a jab at the Donald, writing, "You just said everybody agrees that @Rosie is Miss Piggy but you're mad at Hillary bc she's not nice to you … I need a pina colada."
(Probably fair to say most voters coulda used a frosty adult beverage by the end of that debate.) As for Rosie? She shared a cozy-looking video of her daughter and said she wasn't watching.
