Marc Anthony is separating from his wife, Shannon De Lima, to whom he’s been married to for 2 years. The news comes hours after he and Jennifer Lopez shared a very public kiss.
The two got married in a romantic wedding ceremony in the Dominican Republic back in November 2014. They first began dating in 2012, just months after Marc and Jennifer ended their seven-year marriage. Marc and Shannon have no children together.
During Latin Grammys Jennifer Lopez, Marc’s ex-wife, presented him with an award and then they kissed as they were requested by the crowd. J Lo’s manager, Benny Medina, though, tells … they are “absolutely, categorically, 100% not back together,” according to TMZ.
Lopez and Anthony performed a duet together in August at Radio City Music Hall in NYC and then announced they were working on a Spanish language album together. The last time Marc and Shannon were seen together in public was at that Radio City Music Hall concert.
At the ceremony Lopez shared some sweet sentiments about the father of her children. “Marc is a living legend. He is a magical and pure artist giving away classics that will stay forever,” she said in a short speech. “He will always be many things in my life.”
Meanwhile, Jennifer previously spoke about the “nostalgia” they feel when they sing together. She added: “When we sing together, when they see us together, knowing our history, it brings a certain nostalgia. They know we care about each other and still love each other. We have two kids together and they love to see that things are good between us.”
