FINALLY AFTER 9 YEAR CHRIS ROCK WANT TO DO A TOUR

Chris Rock is hitting the road for the first time in nearly a decade.

The comedian has announced that the Total Blackout Tour will kick off in February in Durham, N.C., and visit cities throughout the U.S., marking his first stand-up tour in nine years. Other stops include Atlanta, Cincinnati, Minneapolis, Denver, Houston, Detroit, and New Orleans.

In a Facebook Live video posted Monday from outside the Comedy Store in Los Angeles, Rock said, “I’m going on tour, I’m coming to your town, I’ve got all new material, I can’t wait to see you, b‑‑‑‑es!”

Rock signaled in October that he would be returning to his stand-up roots when he inked a deal to produce two comedy specials for Netflix.

His other recent endeavors include writing, starring in, and directing Top Five; directing the stand-up special Amy Schumer: Live from the Apollo; hosting the most recent Oscars; and guest starring on Fox’s Empire.
