On Sunday (Dec. 18, 2016), Kanye West and Kim Kardashian got dinner at celeb hotspot Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, making their first joint public appearance since he had his highly publicized breakdown and hospitalization and since she was robbed at gunpoint in Paris.
Wearing white tennis shoes, training pants and a tee under a black jacket, West followed his wife out of the restaurant. Kardashian was notably light on jewelry besides some simple necklaces and her wedding band.
Giorgio Baldi is known for its A-list clientele and for paparazzi who tend to show up outside as a result, so it’s speculated that their appearance is a rebuke to critics claiming their marriage is on the road to splitsville.
