Alan Thicke was remembered by friends and family at a star-studded memorial service over the weekend.
The entire cast of Growing Pains, Leonardo DiCaprio, Kris Jenner, Bob Saget, Alex Trebek, Bill Maher and more attended the memorial on Sunday (Dec. 18, 2016) in honor of the late actor, who passed away from a heart attack last week.
Together, they all celebrated Alan’s life with his son, Robin Thicke, who acted as the emcee for the service. Us Weekly reports the singer did impressions of his late father joking about what Alan might have said. “I’m Alan Thicke and this is exactly the way I want to go out,” he told the crowd. I’d like to thank all of my ex-wives for coming.”
Meanwhile, Leo, who joined the cast of Growing Pains on stage during their heartfelt tribute, explained that Alan was the one who pushed the sitcom to hire him. One of Alan’s family member also posted photos from the memorial to a public Facebook page.
