Why Is Candace Cameron Bure Is Leaving ‘The View? : See Her Reasons Here


Her schedule is a little too full. Candace Cameron Bure announced during the Thursday, December 8, episode that she’s leaving The View after more than a year. watch the clip below





“It’s a little bittersweet for me because I’m announcing that I will be leaving The View,” she said at the beginning of the show. "It wasn’t an easy decision, but before I started The View, I already had my commitments to Fuller House and my work with the Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies and Mysteries.” 




The actress, 40, explained that she wants to focus on her kids — Natasha, 18, Lev, 16, and Maksim, 14, whom she shares with husband Valeri Bure. “The commute of going West Coast to East Coast every single week has been tough on me and hard for my family as well,” she said. “I want to be sure that I’m able to spend as much time with my children and invest in all the projects that I do to the fullest extent.”

She went on to thank her costars for "welcoming" her to the table. "I have learned so much from you and [am] so grateful to you. ...It’s been really wonderful and I’m grateful,” she continued. “I try to be superwoman, but I’m not gonna try anymore.” 
Candace first joined the ABC daytime talk show for season 19 in August 2015, covering politics, style and more. During the current season 20, she has appeared alongside panelists Whoopi GoldbergJoy BeharPaula FarisRaven-Symoné, Sunny HostinJedediah Bila and Sara Haines.
Symoné will also be leaving The View before the end of the year to reprise her role as Raven Baxter in a spinoff of her Disney Channel series That’s So Raven. She will executive-produce the not-yet-titled series and star as a divorced mom raising her two kids, one of whom has inherited her psychic powers.
