Man who tore off a pigeon's head and drank its blood in Bryant Park to seek help

The Count Creepula of Bryant Park who was busted for tearing off the head of a pigeon and drinking its blood — dubbing himself a “vampire” — is expected to get treatment in a plea deal.

Daniel Ventre, 34, was in court on Monday over the nauseating Aug. 30 situation that freaked out summertime parkgoers and resulted in the homeless oddball’s arrest when he was spotted inside a public fountain covered in blood around 2:30 p.m.

“I’m a vampire. I love to eat and suck the blood out of pigeons,” he allegedly told cops at the time.

Ventre also boasted to police that he’s “Ozzy Osbourne,” an apparent reference to the Black Sabbath front man’s 1982 bat biting stunt on stage.

In court Monday, Judge Josh Hanshaft asked Ventre how he was.

“I’m awake,” said the man, who was homeless at the time of his arrest.

Ventre had spent part of the morning curled up in a ball sleeping in the corner of the hallway before his appearance in Manhattan Criminal Court.

His attorney, Caitlyn Hall, confirmed to the judge that she was “looking for some kind of a treatment-based plea” and was in talks with the prosecutor.

No other details were discussed, including what type of treatment was on the table.

Ventre's plea would cover his other open cases for marijuana possession and for trespassing on the tracks at the W. 42nd St. and Fifth Ave. subway station.
