‘Stunning’ woman who never showed up at a Christmas party found dead

A young bartender was found murdered in a UK park after failing to show up at her friends’ house for Christmas — and authorities believe she had been stabbed in the stomach, according to new reports.
Iuliana Tudos, 22 — also known as Juliana or Julie — died of a “stab wound to the abdomen and a head injury,” local police told the Mirror. Authorities have launched a murder probe into Tudos’ death, and believe she was attacked while walking through Finsbury Park, on the northern edge of Inner London.
She was last seen in the Camden Road area at 8 p.m. Christmas Eve after an evening out, according to the report. She told her friends she was catching a bus to her home in Finsbury Park, and would see them later on in Enfield — but she never showed up.
The next day, she missed her shift at The World End’s Pub in Camden.
On Wednesday, a passerby found Tudos’ body in a shed next to a sports field in the park, the outlet reported.
Detective Chief Inspector Nicola Wall told the Independent that it appeared Tudos was attacked on Christmas Eve.
“But we want to hear from anyone who saw anything suspicious in that part of Finsbury Park over the Christmas period,” she added. “We are still trying to piece together a timeline of events and are pursuing a number of lines of inquiry as regards to a motive.”
Tudos’ autopsy results are expected Friday.
Tudos was of Russian and Greek origin and was originally from Moscow, police told the outlet. Her relatives, who are not in the UK, have been informed of her death.
Those who knew Tudos remembered her fondly.
“She was a very nice person, young and gorgeous,” neighbor Sebastian Jonathan told the Independent. “I met her twice when she came over for beers when we had barbecues last summer.”
“You had so many years ahead of you,” friend Gypsy Julene Carty wrote on Tudos’ Facebook page. “Rest now, beautiful soul.”
