HABITANTS OF THIS ISOLATED CARRIBEAN ISLAND IS ON THE VERGE OF EXTINCTION

Santa Cruz del Islote is a Caribbean island the size of two football pitches. Eighteen families live in 97 houses and the youth population is around 65%. There are no reports of crime, but there is poverty with no clean drinking water or sewerage. The internet has inspired the youngest islanders to be creative and many of them plan to leave to build lives on the mainland.
