But people close to the President say that the commander-in-chief is taking the switch seriously, telling Bloomberg News that he hasn't seen Trump eat a hamburger in two weeks.

Earlier this year, Dr. Ronny Jackson, the White House physician who also served Barack Obama, declared Trump to be in 'excellent health' but he advised him to improve his diet and exercise.

President Trump had a weight of 239 pounds and a height of 75 inches, Jackson said, making him 6 feet 3 inches, teetering on the obese
'He has a lot of energy and a lot of stamina,' Jackson said of the 71-year-old-president.

President Trump had a weight of 239 pounds and a height of 75 inches, Jackson said, making him 6 feet 3 inches. That makes him overweight at best by industry standards.

One pound heavier at the same height and Trump would be categorized as obese.

Vice President Mike Pence's doctor, Jennifer Pena, along with Dr. Jackson have both been pushing for a healthier standard at the White House in recent weeks.

Despite his sedentary lifestyle, Jackson gave Trump a glowing review after spending several hours with him in early January, saying that life-long abstinence from tobacco and alcohol had contributed to his good health.
