Utah man pleads guilty to helping teen hang herself by giving her rope and then filming the suicide for 10 minutes

A 19-year-old man who gave a rope to a teenage girl to hang herself with and then filmed her for 10 minutes as she committed suicide reportedly took a plea deal on Tuesday, in exchange for a minimum five years of prison sentence.

The man, identified as Tyerell Przybycien, pleaded guilty to child abuse homicide in Spanish Fork in Utah, as part of a deal with prosecutors, according to the Daily Mail. Reports state that Przybycien helped 16-year-old Jchandra Brown kill herself after he gave her the rope and drove her to a remote location where she committed suicide. He even tied the noose for her and filmed her as she placed it around her neck and died.

Tyerell Joe Przybycien of Spanish Fork accused of helping 16 year old girl hang herself, told police wanted to see a person die.
Przybycien continued filming her final moments and then placed the cell phone with the footage at her feet, saying: "I guess I'll leave this here." Brown's body was reportedly found the next day by a turkey hunter.
Przybycien was earlier facing multiple charges regarding the murder, including witness tampering and failing to report a dead body. If it weren't for the plea deal, the charges would have required him to spend at least 15 years in prison if convicted. He had reportedly told his friends that helping Brown killing herself would be "like getting away with murder."
Przybycien now faces a minimum of five years imprisonment and a maximum of life. His sentencing is scheduled on December 7.

Przybycien, a month before the teenager's death, had sent a message to a different friend asking what they would do if someone told them that they wanted to kill themselves. When the friend said that they would try to talk the person out of it, Przybycien replied with: "The thing is ... I wanna help kill them. It will be awesome. Seriously I'm going to help her. It's like getting away with murder! I'm seriously not joking."

Reports state that after his arrest, he told police officials that he was "scared" and also admitted to feeling like he had personally killed her: "I feel like I did murder her. I helped her so much."
