Uber driver raped 16-year-old girl, authorities say

An Uber driver was arrested Thursday in Georgia, accused of raping a 16-year-old female passenger earlier in the week.

Abdoulie Jagne, 58, was booked into the Gwinnett County Jail in north central Georgia, Fox 5 Atlanta reported. Authorities told the station that more charges could be coming.

The teen told police she had been drinking at a bar with friends on Sunday night, WSB-TV Atlanta reported. One of the girl’s friends then called an Uber ride for her, and that’s when Jagne picked her up, authorities told the station.

The driver allegedly committed the crime after stopping the vehicle along an unincorporated road, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.

The girl told police she was dropped off at a nearby apartment complex, where she started banging on several doors, seeking help, officials told the paper.

Police found the teen to be intoxicated, with her pants around her ankles, Fox 5 Atlanta reported. She was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Uber officials told the paper that Jagne had worked for the company for a couple of months. They released the following statement.

“What’s reported here is horrifying beyond words. Our thoughts are with the rider and her family during this time. This driver has been permanently removed from the app."

Woman found guilty of false rape and sex assault claims against 15 men

A woman who accused 15 men of raping or sexually assaulting her has been found guilty of making false rape claims.

Lies by Jemma Beale, 25, have put one man behind bars and caused another to flee overseas.

Beale, of Bedfont, Hounslow, was yesterday (Thursday) found guilty of four counts of perjury and four counts of perverting the course of justice following a trial at Southwark Crown Court.

She claimed to have been seriously sexually assaulted by six men and raped by nine during four different encounters over a three year period.

In 2010, a rape allegation made by Beale led to the jailing of one of the men – Mahad Cassim – for seven years.

She had told police that Cassim raped her after offering her a lift home – but he had argued that she instigated things, ordering him to remove his underwear.

Beale said in court that she was a lesbian with no interest in the opposite sex, adding: “I’m not going to go to a man I don’t know and ask him for sex. I ain’t bisexual at all.”

She said in a victim impact statement at the time of Cassim’s trial: “I feel that any sentence he receives will never reflect the life sentence that he gave me.” She was then awarded £11,000 in compensation.

But when a former girlfriend of Beale’s told police that Cassim had been wrongly jailed following her false allegations, detectives from the Met’s Sexual Offences, Exploitation and Child Abuse (SOECA) Command launched an investigation in December 2013.

At this time, officers were already investigating a separate claim by Beale that she had been gang raped by a group of men in Feltham that November.

When officers looked at Beale’s various claims between 2010 and 2013 they noted several similarities within the allegations – and many common discrepancies.

The emergence of these doubts about the validity of Beale’s statements led to Mahad Cassim’s conviction being quashed on appeal in July 2015.

A separate case saw another accused man, Noam Shazad, flee to Pakistan after allegations by Beale saw him charged with assault by penetration and sexual assault.

Beale had claimed that Shazad had groped her in a pub before he and a gang of three other men subjected her to a serious sexual attack with barbed wire in a nearby car park. All charges against Shazad have since been dropped.

Beale was arrested in June 2014, but denied all charges against her. The jury found her guilty of four counts of perjury (relating to false testimony provided during the trial and retrial against Cassim) and four counts of perverting the course of justice relating to three other incidents where she falsely claimed she had been sexually assaulted or raped.

Judge Nicholas Loraine-Smith referred to Beale’s “attention-seeking” behaviour, remanding her in custody until her sentencing on August 24.

Detective Sergeant Kevin Lynott, who led the investigation into Beale’s false allegations, said: “Beale is responsible for fabricating a series of extremely serious allegations, which led to several extensive investigations being carried out and teams of detectives and specialist officers spending thousands of hours on the cases and providing support to her.”

He added: “Her manipulation of the criminal justice system has caused police to direct significant amounts of resource into investigating her bogus complaints as well as her own offending. She has also significantly impacted on the NHS as a result of her complaints and used up many other limited resources that are relied upon by genuine survivors. Not only that, but she then went on to give false testimony at court, which resulted in the wrongful conviction and imprisonment of a completely innocent man.

“Beale has been exposed as a serial liar and I can only think that she was motivated partly by financial reward, but mainly the attention and control over her partners and family at the time she made the allegations. The impact on those she falsely accused has been devastating, however hopefully the outcome now fully exonerates all the men she falsely accused of such heinous crimes.”

Fresh Info Emerge in The Alleged School Rape of A Teenager by Illegal Immigrants

New, brutal details emerged Monday in the alleged rape of a 14-year-old girl at a Maryland high school by two male students, at least one of whom was in the country illegally.

The unidentified student at Rockville High School in Rockville, Md. was violently raped, sodomized and made to perform oral sex in a campus bathroom stall by the two males, according to court records.

Jose O. Montano, 17, from El Salvador, and Henry E. Sanchez-Milian, 18, from Guatemala, were charged with first-degree rape and two counts of first-degree sexual offense after they allegedly attacked the girl at 9 a.m. last Thursday.

“The victim was walking in a school hallway when she met two male students, identified as Montano and Sanchez. Montano asked the victim to walk with him and Sanchez. Montano asked the victim to engage in sexual intercourse. She refused,” Montgomery County Police said in a statement.

“Montano asked the victim again and then forced her into a boy’s bathroom and then into a stall. Montano and Sanchez both raped the victim inside the bathroom stall.”

Court records describe the merciless and brutal assault by both Montano and Sanchez, who allegedly raped the young girl multiple times, vaginally, orally and sodomized her, as they spoke to each other in Spanish. Blood and male fluids were recovered from the scene by a forensic expert, court records show.

The victim knew just one of her alleged attackers, court record show.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department Special Victims Investigations Division arrested Montano and Sanchez-Milian after school officials reported the incident.

According to U.S. Department of Homeland Security databases, a Border Patrol agent stopped Sanchez-Milian in August 2016 in Rio Valley Grande, Texas, and determined he’d entered the country illegally from Mexico.

Sanchez-Milian was ordered to appear before an immigration judge, but the hearing had not yet been scheduled.

He has has no previous encounters with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), a spokesman from the agency said.

ICE has since lodged an immigration detainer against Sanchez-Milian. The agency places detainers on individuals arrested on local criminal charges and who are suspected of being deportable, so that ICE can take custody of those individuals when they are released from local custody.

No information was released on 17-year-old Montano, other than his name, because of privacy restrictions related to him being a minor, an ICE spokesman confirmed.

However, The Washington Post reported Montano is a citizen of Guatemala.

All of the students are in the ninth grade, according to Fox 5 DC.

The station reported the judge who oversaw the alleged attackers’ bond hearing refused to release them on bail, because both students are “dangerous and flight risks.”

Montgomery County State’s Attorney’s Office spokesman Ramon Korionoff told NBC News, “These are very serious allegations carrying a life sentence. The potential of life in prison would be available as we prosecute these individuals.” Both Montano and Sanchez will be tried as adults.

The incident is horrifying, devastating for the young girl, and “disturbing on so many levels,” said Jessica Vaughan, the director of policy studies for the Washington, D.C. based Center for Immigration Studies.

She said the Obama administration, and its “disastrous handling” of the surge of illegal aliens arriving from Central America, is partially to blame, noting at least one, and possibly both of the youths were part of that surge.

“The surge of Central American kids has become a significant problem in many of the school districts where they are allowed to resettle,” Vaughan said.

Montgomery County has one of the “more notorious sanctuary policies”, Vaughan said, and the police deliberately do not cooperate with ICE.

“The result is that many gang members and other thugs and miscreants are allowed to remain in the county in defiance of immigration laws and causing problems like this,” Vaughan said, noting that just this week the city of Rockville was considering adopting its own sanctuary policy.

“Montgomery, like others that have absorbed a large number of the Central American youths, has experienced a noticeable uptick in violence that has been attributed to gangs like MS-13, and this has been especially acute in the high schools,” Vaughan said. “This is one of the worst case scenarios that was bound to happen, and it’s not an isolated case.”

A spokeswoman for the Montgomery County Public Schools wrote a letter to parents to inform them of the incident. She said ensuring a safe, secure and welcoming learning environment for all of their students is a “top priority.”

“Our staff remains vigilant in the monitoring of our school each and every day. Please remind your child that if they believe they are a victim of an assault or see something inappropriate, they should immediately tell a staff member,” said Gboyinde Onijala, Senior Communications Specialist, with the Department of Public Information and Web Services at Montgomery County Public Schools.

Teenage Girl Kidnapped, Gang-raped and Live-Streamed On Facebook Live

A 15-year-old Chicago girl appeared to be the victim of a horrifying gang rape -- by a group who streamed the attack on Facebook Live.

None of the roughly 40 people who watched the video called police about the attack, investigators said. It’s the second time in months that Chicago police have investigated an apparent attack streamed live on Facebook.
Police finally learned of the attack after the girl’s mother approached Superintendent Eddie Johnson late Monday afternoon and showed him screenshots of the alleged assault, spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said. Johnson was leaving a news conference in the Lawndale neighborhood on the city’s West Side.
“Here’s what’s even more disturbing, more than the fact that they did this, there were so many people that saw it and didn’t pick up the phone to dial 911,” Johnson told WGN-TV. “That’s not right. It’s just not right.”
Johnson, who reportedly was “visibly upset” after he watched the video, immediately ordered an investigation and the department asked Facebook to take the video down.
The girl was reported missing after she didn’t return to her Lawndale home after going to the store on Sunday, the Chicago Tribune reported. Then, the girl’s uncle reportedly came across a Facebook Live video showing a group of boys assaulting the 15-year-old.
The girl was found Tuesday morning walking four blocks from her home. Police said she appeared to be in “good condition” and was returned to her mother, the Tribune reported.
In January, four people were arrested after cellphone footage streamed live on Facebook showed them allegedly taunting and beating a mentally disabled man.
The suspects in that case -- Jordan Hill, 18, Tesfaye Cooper, 18, Brittany Covington, 18, and Tanishia Covington, 24 – were charged with hate crime and battery for allegedly torturing the white man for as long as 48 hours, while shouting racial and anti-Donald Trump slurs.

Muslim Woman Admits She Fabricated The Story About Being Attacked by Trump Supporters.

Yasmin Seweid, an 18-year old Muslim college student is being charged with filing a false report about three drunk men who attempted to pull off her hijab while yelling Donald Trump’s name on the subway, BuzzFeed News reports.

Seweid’s initial report of the incident came earlier this month. According to the New York Daily News, she claimed that three drunk men shouted racial slurs at her on a subway platform and screamed “Donald Trump!” at her before attempting to pull off her hijab.

At the time, the incident was treated with the gravity it deserved; DNA Info reports that investigators “spent significant NYPD resources” in an attempt to corroborate her story were unable to find any solid evidence that the incident in question occurred. The source told DNA Info that the police were compelled to charge Seweid because of the nature of the incident and the amount of time spent trying to verify what happened –especially since they had given her “numerous opportunities” to come clean.

Seweid admitted Tuesday that she had made up the story, citing family issues and a deeply misguided attempt to get attention at home. “You try to raise your children as best you can,” her father, Sayeed Seweid told DNA Info. “She’s a bright, good girl. She’s young and maybe she was foolish here.”

Madonna and Lady Gaga's Sexual Assault Allegations is Been Questioned By Piers Morgan

Lady Gaga didn’t take it lightly when Piers Morgan insinuated that she and Madonna lied about being sexual assault survivors.

After Gaga, 30, complimented Madonna, 58, on her Billboard Women in Music speech describing her harrowing experience of being raped, Morgan tweeted Monday, “I remain sceptical [sic] about Madonna & Lady Gaga’s claims.”

He added, “Lady Gaga & Madonna have both made ALLEGATIONS of rape many years after the event. No police complaint, no charges, no court case.” In another tweet he wrote, “I fear [sexual assault has] become the latest celebrity accessory.” And then, because he couldn’t stop himself, Morgan, 51, tweeted, “I wouldn’t automatically believe anything either Madonna or Lady Gaga claimed about their lives.”

The comments came to Gaga’s attention on Tuesday.

Gaga replied, “I’ve work [sic] w/ our VP Joe Biden on helping educate people about why women don’t report, would love to share it w/ you some time.” She added, “would also love to talk with you about PTSD, that it’s not just a ‘military’ disorder. There is a mental health youth epidemic. if anyone in your family suffers from it, I pray they have more good days than bad. It has affected me & my whole family.”

Morgan seemed unmoved, writing, “I know numerous soldiers with PTSD, it’s a very serious thing. I also know people who claim to have it but clearly don’t. Let’s talk…”

Mother Monster wasn’t impressed. “Let’s do that & yes Mr. Morgan, I can handle u,” she tweeted. “Suprised [sic] you would question that. Was that the 1st question of our interview?”

Morgan didn’t respond directly, instead tweeting publicly, “I rather admire @ladygaga for agreeing to an interview after my criticisms. Should be a fascinating debate. I’ll press my meat suit.”

The “meat suit” comment really got the beef going, with Gaga responding, “if you continue to shame me in the process of kindly agreeing to interview w/ u I’ll happily do the interview with someone else.”

Film Director Bernardo Bertolucci of 'Last Tango in Paris’ Agrees Rape Scene Was Not Consensual

Last Tango in Paris director Bernardo Bertolucci admitted in a recently surfaced 2013 video that the infamous rape scene in the much-lauded 1972 film was not consensual.
In a Q&A filmed at La Cinémathèque française in Paris, Bertolucci, 73, admitted that he and legendary actor Marlon Brando, who was 48 at the time, came up with the idea to use a stick of butter to rape Maria Schneider onscreen the morning of the shoot. (Schneider has clarified in past interviews that there was never any actual sex on-set, despite speculation.)

“The sequence of the butter is an idea that I had with Marlon in the morning before shooting, he said in the interview. “We were having, with Marlon, breakfast on the floor of the flat where I was shooting. There was a baguette, there was butter and we looked at each other and, without saying anything, we knew what we wanted.” (In the scene, Brando uses the stick of butter as sexual lubricant.)
One of the most celebrated filmmakers of his generation, Bertolucci admitted that he recognized that he “had been, in a way, horrible to Maria because I didn’t tell her what was going on,” but that he went with the controversial decision to go forward because he knew it would translate on film.
“[I] wanted her reaction as a girl, not as an actress,” the veteran director said. “I wanted her to react humiliated.”
In 2007, Schneider, who was 58 when she died in 2011, made mention of the fact that both Bertolucci and Brando had pressured her to go along with the idea. She was 19 at the time.
“I should have called my agent or had my lawyer come to the set because you can’t force someone to do something that isn’t in the script, but at the time, I didn’t know that,” she told the Daily Mail. “Marlon said to me, ‘Maria, don’t worry, it’s just a movie,’ but during the scene, even though what Marlon was doing wasn’t real, I was crying real tears. I felt humiliated and to be honest, I felt a little raped, both by Marlon and by Bertolucci. After the scene, Marlon didn’t console me or apologize. Thankfully, there was just one take.”
Celebrities who caught wind of the surfaced 2013 Bertolucci admission, including Jessica ChastainChris Evans and Ava DuVernay, quickly reacted to the news with outrage and disbelief.
To all the people that love this film- you're watching a 19yr old get raped by a 48yr old man. The director planned her attack. I feel sick. https://twitter.com/ELLEmagazine/status/804910484587773952
