It appears Kendall Jenner has not made a good impression on rumored boyfriend A$AP Rocky’s mother.
Kari Mayers doesn’t believe the 20-year-old is good enough for her rapper son, who’s real name is Rakim Mayers.
“He can do much better,” she said in an interview with Daily Mail.
“I’ve heard all about him dating Kendall and I don’t like it. Everything I hear about the Kardashians makes me think they are a bad family for Rakim to be involved with.”
The 27-year-old and Keeping Up With the Kardashians star were first rumored to be dating months ago and have recently been getting more serious.
“They are just not the kind of people I’d like to see him hanging around with,” his mother continued.
“I don’t want him being dragged into that circus, he is too good for that and can do so much better.”
The pair were spotted enjoying Paris together this past June and were more recently out partying in Los Angeles.
The New York native’s life has been plagued with tragedy — his brother was killed in a shooting in 2002 and his father spent time in jail for selling drugs around the same time.
Thankfully, due to the success of his music, he’s found himself in a better place.
His mom added, “Rakim is loving his life right now and doing his thing and I can’t see that changing any time soon, not even for a Kardashian.”
