Mere days after reports that Kendall Jenner is “full-on” dating rapper (and Kylie Jenner’s rumored ex-boyfriend) ASAP Rocky, the 20-year-old model was spotted out on the town with a different guy entirely.
On Sunday, August 14, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star was photographed heading to dinner at The Cheesecake Factory with 25-year-old rapper Tyler the Creator. Kendall was all smiles, rocking a white crop top and loose, high-waisted pants.
However, the outing appeared to be totally platonic, as the duo were joined by Kendall’s BFF Hailey Baldwin. Earlier that day, the girls flew back to LA via private jet after celebrating Kylie’s 19th birthday in Turks and Caicos.
While Kendall and Tyler may just be friends — the pair have been pals for years now, publicly supporting each other’s projects and hanging out with mutual friends — that doesn’t mean the status of Kendall’s relationship with Rocky is set in stone.
On August 11, the 27-year-old rapper was seen partying with his ex, Victoria’s Secret model Chanel Iman. The duo appeared to be getting cozy while attending an art fair and concert in the Bronx.
Then again, this might not be a problem for Kendall, who’s rumored to be keeping her dating life very casual.
“She’s really enjoying playing the friend and not putting all of her eggs in one basket,” a source told Hollywood Life.
“She loves spending time with ASAP Rocky [...] but ultimately, having fun is her number one priority at the moment. She’s so busy with work that she would rather keep things casual and lighthearted rather than getting stressed out and feeling like she has to commit to one person.”
