Amber Heard and Johnny Depp Officially Settled Divorce Case



Amber Heard has dismissed her restraining order petition against Johnny Depp.
According to TMZtheir divorce case has been settled as both actors filed legal documents on Tuesday, August 16.
The 30-year-old dismissed the case with “prejudice,” which means she’ll never be able to refile it again.
Along with the domestic violence petition, the estranged couple’s divorce is also settled. Sources reveal the 53-year-old is paying his former wife approximately $7 million, which is $1 million less than asked for.
The Magic Mike XXL star had her deposition on Saturday, August 13 and both sets of lawyers came to an agreement afterwards.
The couple released a joint statement saying, “Our relationship was intensely passionate and at times volatile, but always bound by love. Neither party has made false accusations for financial gains.”
“Amber wishes the best for Johnny in the future. Amber will be donating financial proceeds from the divorce to a charity." She does not specify what percentage and which charity.
The on-going saga is officially over for the couple who filed for divorce in May of this year.
