Ashley I. Open Up the Facts Surrounding Her Relationship With Jared! (VIDEO)

As usual, most celebrities relationships are always complicated though but let periscope this one right now.

Ashley Iaconetti may have rolled into Bachelor in Paradise last night like a storm of emotions, but it sounds like she has a more valid reason than you’d first think.

While the three-time franchise star might have seemed fixated on her unrequited love for Jared Haibon, she later explained there’s a lot more to their relationship the audience doesn’t know about.
During her appearance on After Paradise, Ashley detailed the “on-and-off-again relationship” she and the Rhode Island hunk went through over the last year since appearing on BIP 2 together.
“One of the most frustrating things about watching this back on TV and not being able to fit everything into the hour and 20 minute edit is it doesn’t show how close Jared and I are in our friendship. He’s one of my closest friends and he will say the exact same thing,” she bemoaned.
As to what the exact status of their “friendship” was during that time, she added, “We really developed a friendship over the fall, and then it was more than friendship during the winter. And then, going intoParadise, we were just friends.”

Though they were technically platonic in the weeks before the third season, KardAshley says Jared’s behavior was still leading her to believe there could be something more.
“We barely go a day without texting,” the 28-year-old stated. “We FaceTime at least once a week. I’ve met his family multiple times, he’s met my family multiple times. He sent me roses and he’s gone all out for my birthday.”
That being said, it doesn’t seem like she has any hard feelings towards him now, as she knows he was “just trying to be sweet.”
“He’s the sweetest person you’ll ever meet,” she gushed. “He didn’t understand that I could misinterpret that, which I did.”
Poor Ash! Luckily, we have an inkling she’ll be getting over that heartbreak very soon.
Bachelor in Paradise airs every Monday and Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
