We officially have a suitor to carry on Steve Irwin’s crocodile hunting legacy.
Bindi Irwin’s boyfriend — wakeboarder Chandler Powell — performed his first “croc jump” this week, honoring Bindi’s late father, Steve “The Crocodile Hunter” Irwin.
Today, August 18, the 19-year-old took to Instagram to post photos from the experience — one that he shared with Bindi and her family.
His excitement is genuine as the 19-year-old American is known to “idolize” Steve Irwin.
In the shot below, the croc hunting newbie can be seen with Bindi's mother, Terri, holding down the crocodile as his girlfriend measures the reptile.
The 18-year-old actress also took to Instagram to share this photo of the happy couple celebrating the “Croctrip.”
We think it’s safe to say this won’t be Chandler’s last croc hunt.
