Chris Brown Failed To Stand For National Anthem and Got Into Argument During Charity Function (UPDATE)


UPDATE (9/12/2016 10:35 a.m. ET):
Along with not standing for the national anthem, Chris Brown got into an argument at the Power 106 Celebrity Basketball Game on Sunday, September 11.
The singer got into a heated exchange with a spectator in the stands and one of the officers at the event could be heard saying in footage of the incident, "I don't care who's here, get it straight," sources told TMZ. 





While he was slammed for protesting “The Star Spangled Banner,” Breezy didn’t seem to care and posted a photo of himself on Instagram with the caption, “Dodging this bulls—t like.”

Chris Brown refused to stand during the national anthem on Sunday, September 11 at a charity basketball game in Los Angeles.
The singer joined the protest started by NFL football quarterback Colin Kaepernick that focuses on bringing awareness to racial inequality.
R&B singer Tank performed “The Star Spangled Banner” and asked everyone to stand up and honor the men and women who lost their lives 15 years ago during the terrorist attacks.
While the rest of the crowd rose, the 27-year-old remained seated on the floor and joked around with those around him.
Many people were unhappy with Breezy’s decision to stay seated and vented their frustrations on Twitter.
The father of one has been involved in a great deal of controversy recently — he was just arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon after a woman accused him of pointing a gun to her head.
Chris has been adamant about his innocence and insists the woman, Baylee Curran, is framing him.
Also, while initial reports said his daughter Royalty was present, the “Next to You” singer says it’s not true and the 2-year-old was not at his home during the incident.
