Britney Spears established herself as the undisputed Pikachu queen over the weekend. How? By throwing her two sons (Sean Preston and Jayden James) a joint Pokémon-themed birthday bash that will make your Ash Ketchum-loving heart explode. Explode!
The Starbucks icon documented the fête on Instagram. She posted a picture of Sean and Jayden surrounded by a sea of Pokémon treats with the caption,"Big bday for my boys! Double digits whoop whoop." (Sean turns 11 on September 14; Jayden turned 10 on September 12.)
Let's just take a second to admire the bountiful Pokémon spread Spears gave her offspring. Are those Pikachu dolls edible? If so, do they taste like Cheetos, Brit's signature snack? The Snorlax heads—like, just the heads—on the far right are both cute and creepy. Also, that cake on the left is suspect. It looks fake, but it can't be, right? Surely, you wouldn't tease the idea of cake with a hunk of plastic? That's crueler than having to delete your Pokémon Go app because it's killing your data.
Spears also snapped a photo of her pool with birthday swag hanging over it. Catching Charizards makes you sweaty, people. Even tweens have to cool down from the rush.
The Glory singer has been enchanted with Pokémon for weeks now. (Her sons got her hooked.) "I'm introduced to all these new Pokémon every day," Spears said in a recent interview. Living, breathing Pokémaster.
We're keeping our fingers crossed for a Pokémon live-action film starring the Spears family. (Get those Oscars ready.)
