The couple were due to travel by helicopter to spend the day touring the remote group of islands off the coast of Cornwall as part of a two day “mini-tour” of the south coast.
Kate and William spent more than an hour and a half touring Cornwall’s Eden Project and chatting to visitors.
For the occasion Kate wore her Smythe Jackets blazer, Monsoon wedges, LK Bennett London Nata lie clutch, and £21.99 ikat print trousers from GAP.
The royal couple were introduced to Eden staff once inside one of the large structures and even met a baby dinosaur puppet from the attraction’s Dinosaur Uprising project.
Nicole White, 27, who introduced the royal couple to a baby dinosaur puppet called Mutty, said: “Kate didn’t see the baby muttaburrasaurus at first as his colours blended in with my clothes so she had quite a giggle once she realised what I was holding.
“I just told her that Mutty really wanted to meet her and she said ‘I bet the kids really like him’.
