Celebrity Snapchat stories are low-key better than TV these days. We’ve already seen Kim Kardashian-directed dramas and filtered music videos starring Jimmy Fallon, but we can now add cosmetic surgery documentaries to our list—courtesy of actress Bella Thorne. The former Disney star got her eyebrows tattooed over the weekend and used Snapchat to selfie-document the whole thing. Because this is 2016, and this is the world we live in.
Thorne started her story with a cryptic image of a makeup counter alongside the caption, “Getting it yatted.” The 18-year-old then shared a “before” picture of her eyes and eyebrows before snapping several in-process photos of the tattooing procedure. The whole process seemed to involve numbing, precise planning, and—of course—tattooing. And the artist finished her brows off with an additional coat of what appears to be hair dye at the end. The final product looked excellent. Thorne’s brows were clean, clear, and precise—giving her that full-brow look she was going for. And while I can’t say I expected to see a full-on tattooing documentary in my Snapchat feed this weekend, I also can’t complain. Her story was damn educational!
