Have You Heard of Microblading: It Is The face tattoo you will definitely want to have

Unless you’re Mike Tyson, chances are you’d think twice before getting a tattoo on your face.  Permanent ink on any part of your body is a big commitment, but getting one smack dab in the middle of your forehead just seems like a risky move. But there’s a beauty trend that pretty much involves just that, only this tattoo is one you’re actually going to want.
Microblading is a type of tattoo that will give you perfectly shaped brows without any makeup. Sounds too good to be true, right? It’s not — so long as you’re willing to pay the high price tag for this specialty service.

The increasingly popular procedure involves a highly-skilled artist drawing individual hair-like strokes of ink that mimic your brows. The process only takes about an hour and a half and works for just about anyone, whether you’ve got thick brows you want to perfect or brows that are barely there.
“Microblading is great not just for anyone looking to improve or enhance the appearance of their brows, but also for those with fine and gappy brows, and even those suffering from alopecia, as sparse or missing brows can be completely restored,” says New York City microblading expert Peret Aava, known to her nearly 34,000 Instagram followers as The Eyebrow Doctor.
To give you the brows of your dreams, Aava uses a pen-like device with a micro blade to scratch and etch the thin lines into your skin. This special tool deposits the color closer to the surface than a regular tattoo needle, which leaves you with very fine, crisp, hair-stroke lines that heal thinner and sharper.
“With this method I can create almost any look, from a very natural light finish or a beautifully bold brow. Each set of brows I design is bespoke to you and your measurements and the color we choose should complement you without any makeup but can easily be amped up for an evening out with a little added brow makeup,” Aava says.
Unlike regular tattoos, however, Aava explains that microblading is not permanent and will need to be touched up every year or so, depending on your skin and lifestyle. In some cases, the color can last up to three years.
During the appointment, Aava will spend about an hour drawing out your brow’s perfect shape using an eyebrow pencil to ensure you get the look you want. Once you’re happy with it, she applies a numbing cream to help ease any discomfort and begins drawing on the hair strokes.
Your brows will look pretty much flawless right after the appointment, but the ink will appear slightly darker than the final results. Over the next couple of weeks, your eyebrows will go through an awkward healing process where they’ll begin to scab and fall off before the crisp 'hair' strokes show up again. It’s crucial to avoid picking or scratching them during this phase, as you risk damaging the pigment. Patients will also get a cream to apply on a regular basis to keep brows moisturized and protected.
After about four weeks, you’ll need to go back for a touch-up appointment, as the ink doesn’t always take the first time around. But once they’re completely healed, hopefully you'll be left with the most flawless brows of your life.

Watch How This Celebrity Tattooed Her Eyebrows, and The Act is Recorded on Snapchat

Celebrity Snapchat stories are low-key better than TV these days. We’ve already seen Kim Kardashian-directed dramas and filtered music videos starring Jimmy Fallon, but we can now add cosmetic surgery documentaries to our list—courtesy of actress Bella Thorne. The former Disney star got her eyebrows tattooed over the weekend and used Snapchat to selfie-document the whole thing. Because this is 2016, and this is the world we live in.

Thorne started her story with a cryptic image of a makeup counter alongside the caption, “Getting it yatted.” The 18-year-old then shared a “before” picture of her eyes and eyebrows before snapping several in-process photos of the tattooing procedure. The whole process seemed to involve numbing, precise planning, and—of course—tattooing. And the artist finished her brows off with an additional coat of what appears to be hair dye at the end. That, Thorne said, was her least favorite part. Watch her full story below.

The final product looked excellent. Thorne’s brows were clean, clear, and precise—giving her that full-brow look she was going for. And while I can’t say I expected to see a full-on tattooing documentary in my Snapchat feed this weekend, I also can’t complain. Her story was damn educational! Oh Snapchat, what gift will you bring us next?

See Photo of Ruby Rose's Color Chart Tattoo on Her Back

Ruby Rose is no stranger to body tattoos (she’s got like 60 of them), but she may have outdone herself with her latest addition – a huge Pantone color chart.

The Orange Is the New Black actress posted an Instapic, with the caption, “Guys Home Depot is trying to save paper. So now you can order me and I will stand facing your wall until you pick the color you like. I’ll even stand facing the wall as you have breakfast and as you’re watching tv at night so you can see the colors at different times. Offer limited. Conditions apply. *this is a completely false ad.”

Rose explained why she loves them tats. “It’s the same way I like to explore with clothing and makeup. [Getting tattoos] was my self-expression growing up,” she told New York magazine in May (via UsWeekly). “My mum let me get [my first one at 16] — I was in a period when I was trying to find my own way and she wanted me to feel like I owned my body again. She said, ‘You need to own yourself and who you are and what you are. If this is going to help you know that your skin belongs to you and you’re in control, let’s do it.'”
She added, “I see tattoos as a journal, a way of keeping control of my life. I can look at my arms, legs, and stomach and have memories that trigger me every time. I can have hope.”
Rose recently split with girlfriend Harley Gusman.

Trending: People Have Started Covering Their Entire Body With Black Tattoo

Now that's dedication. Some tattoo lovers are going all in with solid black ink and the trend is a hit on Instagram. Artist Chester Lee of Oracle Tattoo shop in Singapore has been specializing in the method for about five years, he tells Cosmopolitan.com. He recently posted this shot of his work, which has racked up thousands of likes.
"That particular piece I [had] been at it for couple of months, about 20 odd hours," Lee says. Some customers, he explains, use the method to cover up old ink.
If black ink is done over existing tats, Lee explains, you'll see negative lines show through.
Other shops around the world are offering blackout tattoos, as well, covering entire body parts.
Tattoo model Monami Frost took to YouTube last year to answer questions about her blackout arm tattoo, which she says took three or four sessions.
Frost said, shockingly, that the monthlong process "didn't hurt too bad."
