Watch Kendall Jenner Do The No-Mirror Makeup Challenge For Allure -- But She Fails

SCROLL DOWN TO WATCH THE VIDEO BELOW

As much as we enjoy it when our favorite beauty gurus fearlessly tackle YouTube challenges — like that popular no-mirror makeup tutorial that swept the Internet awhile back — our own attempts fall somewhat … flat. In our heads, we’re breezing through the process and emerging with flawless faces, but in reality, the results don’t always line up with our visions. The unexpected celeb who completely understands how we feel? None other than Kendall Jenner.

The supermodel filmed the most adorable video with Allure, in which she tried nine things she’s never done before. Most viewers will probably be spellbound by the part where she befriends a sloth (it’s pretty cute), but we instantly zeroed in on a different clip. “Apply makeup without a mirror,” reads the challenge. Kendall proceeds to coat her lids in liner and swipe on a layer of coral lipstick before beaming at the camera, and asking, “How does it look?”

“Beautiful!” is the answer, and we’re in total agreement. You’ll note that one cat eye is impressively on-point, which seems to be the result of how she slightly pulls at the outer corner of her eye while tracing her lashline. The other side? Best described as a scribble. And FYI, that’s why we can’t stop watching! In this moment, Kendall is all of us attempting to wing out our liner in the morning. And if nothing else, this serves as an amazing reminder that with a big grin and a generous dose of confidence, no one will notice a thing!

Case in point: despite being a supermodel and reality TV royalty, Kenny is no good at applying makeup when she doesn't have a mirror. But at least she was a good sport when Allure challenged her to do it on video anyway. Check out the hilarious compilation — in which she also tries on multiple outfits as fast as she can — below.

She did slay at becoming besties with that sloth. Who wouldn't want to be BFFs with a sloth, after all?
