Victoria's Secret Angel Candice Swanepoel made public today on Instagram that she has given birth to a bouncing baby boy on Wednesday, October 5. She made this announcement of her pregnancy with fiancé Hermann Nicoli back in March with a sweet snap, and ended up giving birth just after co-Angel Behati Prinsloo had her baby, Dusty Rose, with Adam Levine. The two close friends have been partners-in-maternity-style during their pregnancies, giving all of us (expecting or not, TBH) some serious summertime inspiration. And yes, we're not-so-secretly hoping their two kids grow up to be best friends.
Swanepoel and Nicoli had actually revealed their babe's name—and gender—last month in an Insta from their safari-themed baby shower. The name they chose for their baby boy? Anacã, which is the Brazilian word for a type of bird that lives in the Amazon. (Nicoli is Brazilian, and the South African Swanepoel can speak Portuguese, Afrikaans, and English like a boss.)
