Choosing an Italian designer was a smart move for FLOTUS, who welcomed the the Prime Minister and First Lady of Italy to the White House with her husband this evening. She's traditionally worn designers from the same country as her guests—for example, she sported Canadian designer Jason Wu when Justin and Sophie Gregoire Trudeau came to visit.
