Spice Girls will be Performing at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Wedding

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may have booked the best wedding singers possible: Spice Girls. Mel B hinted that the iconic girl group is taking the stage for the royal wedding reception during an appearance on The Real today.

When asked if she knew anyone attending the ceremony, Mel answered, "I’m going," and added that all "five Spice Girls" (Victoria Beckham, Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton, Melanie Chisolm, and herself) were invited.
"Why am I so honest?" Mel said after making the big reveal.
Then, Loni Love brought up a very important question: Will the Spice Girls be performing at the reception?
To that, Mel looked down and threw her talking cards in the air in defeat. She basically gave it away, and the audience screamed in response.
"I need to go. I'm gonna be fired," Mel B said after realizing she'd said too much.

It was just reported earlier this month that the girl group was reuniting for a few mysterious upcoming projects, including a tour in the late summer of 2018. It looks like they’ll be stopping by Harry and Meghan’s wedding on May 19 before hitting the road.
The engaged couple is slated to have two receptions following their nuptials at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle, with one following the ceremony during the day and a private celebration at night hosted by Prince Charles. We wonder which group of guests will be treated to a Spice Girls performance.
It was previously reported that their fellow Brit singer, Ed Sheeran, was asked to perform “a few songs” at the couple’s ceremony. The crooner hasn’t commented or confirmed whether he’ll be doing so, but he’s previously expressed interest in singing at the wedding—if he was invited.

Geri Halliwell Saying Sorry For Leaving the Spice Girls 19 Years Ago

Stop! Geri Halliwell just apologized for leaving the Spice Girls 19 years ago. The singer responded to a tweet about the anniversary of her departure on Wednesday, May 31.

"19 years ago today, it was announced that @GeriHalliwell had left the Spice Girls in the middle of their world tour," the fan tweet read.

Halliwell, 44, retweeted and replied: "I'm sorry about that … everything works out in the end, that's what my mum says! X."
Last year, Halliwell called the move to exit the British band "immature" during an interview with Oprah Winfrey. "It felt like it had grown into this huge monster, bigger than the individuals, bigger than the band itself," she explained on Oprah: Where Are They Now? at the time. "Obviously there was a bit of ruction in the band, and I was thinking ‘You know, I just don’t want to do this anymore.' It was like, ‘You’re getting on my nerves and I don’t know how to talk this through, so I’m out of here.’ It was quite immature, looking back."
Nevertheless, the star appears to still be close with her former bandmates — Victoria BeckhamEmma BuntonMelanie Chisholm and Melanie Brown. The gals reunited when they performed at the closing ceremony for the 2012 London Olympics.

A Member of Spice Girls' Geri Halliwell Has Revealed Her Second Pregnancy

Baby spice! Geri Halliwell is pregnant with her second child. The Spice Girls singer, a.k.a. Ginger Spice, announced the news with a cute Instagram photo on Monday, October 10.

"God bless Mother Nature #mamaspice," Halliwell, 44, captioned a sketch of a woman with a growing baby bump.
The British star married her boyfriend, Christian Horner, in May 2015 after nearly a year of dating. (They previously were friends for five years.) They exchanged vows at St. Mary's Church at Woburn Abbey in Bedfordshire, East England.
"I can be totally nerdy in front of him," Halliwell gushed of her beau to The Telegraph back in July. "He's as geeky and silly as me."

Halliwell is already mom of daughter Bluebell Madonna, 10, with her ex, screenwriter Sacha Gervasi. "Having Bluebell changed everything. You have someone else to think of; you want to pass on all the right lessons and be a good mother," she told the publication at the time. "It's so lovely to share that with my husband and be our own team."
Halliwell might be on the road during her pregnancy. Back in March, Ipresstv unveils  that she and her former bandmates — Melanie "Scary Spice" Brown,Melanie "Sporty Spice" Chisholm and Emma "Baby Spice" Bunton — are planning a reunion tour. (Victoria "Posh Spice" Beckham is sitting this one out.)
"This has been in the works for the past year," an insider said. "The girls have long been keen to do a major reunion tour together."

Spice Girls Star, Mel B Blasts Victoria Beckham & Mel C For Refusing To Join Spice Girls Reunion [Video]

Spice Girls star Mel B is putting Victoria Beckham and Mel C on serious blast after it was revealed that they would not be taking part in the girl band’s upcoming 20th anniversary reunion.

Mel took aim at her bandmates during an appearance on The Late Late Show With James Corden on September 8, where she described Victoria and Mel as being “b*****s” for refusing to take part in their upcoming reunion plans.
After Mel B, Emma Bunton and Geri Horner announced earlier this year that they would be celebrating the 20th birthday of the band as a threesome under the name Spice Girls GEM, James quizzed Mel on exactly why the five piece girl group would be two members down.
“Because the other two b*****s didn’t wanna do it!” Mel hit back when asked why Victoria and Mel C were both out of the upcoming reunion.

The America’s Got Talent judge then attempted to correct her pretty explosive response aimed at Sporty and Posh Spice, telling Corden, “No, let me correct that. My other two fellow lovely ladies.”
Mel then attempted to reveal exactly why Victoria and Mel C will not be a part of the upcoming Spice Girls reuinion, admitting that the two were just too busy to reunite with their bandmates.
“You know, Victoria is busy with her great fashion line,” Mel said of Beckham, before clarifying, “Mel C is doing her own album.”
Mel B then confirmed that the Spice Girls trio do have the twosome’s permission to continue, revealing during her The Late Late Show appearance that Victoria and Mel C “gracefully” gave their blessing for Mel B, Emma and Geri to stage a reunion without them.

“We’re girl power. We support each other,” Mel admitted of herself and her Spice Girls bandmates.
Mel B’s confession that Mel C and Victoria both gave their permission for the Spice Girls reunion to go ahead as a trio comes just weeks after The Sun claimed that Sporty Spice wasn’t actually too happy about three of her bandmates reuniting without her.
The site alleged last month that Mel C had actually been consulting with lawyers over the upcoming Spice Girls GEM reunion, claiming that she didn’t believe the three should be able to reunite and use the Spice Girls name without her and Beckham.
“Mel has told the other girls she is consulting lawyers about whether the reunion can go ahead without her,” an insider alleged to the newspaper, though Mel, nor her fellow Spice Girls, have confirmed the report.

“[Mel C] believes she brought music credibility to the group and there is no Spice Girls without her,” the insider continued of Sporty’s alleged legal battle, claiming that her bandmates “are in regular text and phone contact with her” regarding the situation.
But while Mel B appears to be dispelling reports claiming Mel C has threatened legal action against her Spice Girls bandmates, this isn’t the first time Scary Spice has been embroiled in drama with her fellow girl banders in recent weeks.
Earlier this year, Mel slammed Victoria Beckham again after Beckham claimed that her microphone was often turned off during Spice Girls performances.
Victoria made the surprising admission in an interview with The Telegraph, claiming that she rarely sung live during Spice Girls concerts.

However, Mel wasn’t too happy with Beckham’s confession, slamming Posh Spice when asked about Beckham’s microphone bombshell by Entertainment Tonight.
“She wishes it was turned off!” Mel hit back at Victoria. “We sung live, and we wrote and recorded all our music together live and we performed it live. It wasn’t turned down. Not that I know of.”
“Maybe she secretly asked for that — I don’t know about that,” Mel continued of Victoria.
What do you think of Mel B putting her Spice Girls bandmates on serious blast?
