Protester tells a 9/11 widow: 'Your husband should rot in the grave’

An anti-fascist demonstrator verbally attacked a woman wearing an NYPD hat during recent protests in downtown Portland, Oregon. When she told him, “My husband died in 9/11,” he didn’t stop there. “Your f**king husband should probably f**king rot in the grave,” he yelled at her.

Trump red-faced at Mike Flynn when disgraced advisor humiliated him in front of UK's prime minister

President Donald Trump fumed at former national security adviser Michael Flynn over a delayed return call to Russian President Vladimir Putin, secret memos written by James Comey reveal.
Trump's displeasure with Flynn was revealed in memos written by Comey detailing his conversations with Trump.
The identity of the foreign leader, with whom Trump spoke on January 28, 2017, was blacked out in the copies of the memos sent to Capitol Hill on Thursday. Sources said it was Putin.
Comey recounts how Trump at a private White House dinner pointed his fingers at his head and complained that Flynn 'has serious judgment issues'.
He then blamed Flynn for a delay in returning the congratulatory call of an international leader - who is now revealed to be Putin.
'I did not comment at any point during this topic and there was no mention or acknowledgement of any FBI interest in or contact with General Flynn,' Mr Comey wrote.
The disclosure in the leaked Comey memos casts new light on the days immediately after the inauguration and reveals how Flynn humiliated Trump in front of another world leader days after taking office.
Comey's dinner with Trump took place on Friday January 27, hours after May had become met him at the White House.
Trump told Comey that he had toasted May over lunch as the first world leader to call him after his inauguration.
'Apparently, at the President was toasting PM May, he was explaining that she had been the first to call him after his inauguration and interrupted to say that REDACTED had called (first apparently),' Comey wrote.
'It was then that the President learned of REDCATED call and he confronted Flynn about it (not clear whether that was in the moment or after the lunch with PM May).'
Flynn told him the return call was scheduled for Saturday - six days after Putin had called, ' which prompted a heated reply from the President that six days was not appropriate  period of time to return a call from the REDACTED of a country like REDACTED'
'This isn't REDACTED we are talking about,' Trump told Comey.
'He said that if he called REDACTED and didn't get a return call for six days he would be very upset,' Comey wrote.
'In telling the story, the President pointed his fingers at his head and said "the guy has serious judgment issues".'
Comey's now-released memos cast a new - and unflattering - light on the first days of the Trump presidency

Flynn was out within a month, with the official reason for his firing being given as lying to Mike Pence about his contact with Russia.
Trump defended Flynn Friday following the leak of the memos.
The president has complained that Comey, whom he canned 11 months ago, has lied about their interactions in order to build public demand for sales of his new memoir, while Flynn's lies could land him in prison.
'So General Michael Flynn's life can be totally destroyed while Shadey [sic] James Comey can Leak and Lie and make lots of money from a third rate book (that should never have been written),' he tweeted Friday.
'Is that really the way life in America is supposed to work? I don't think so!'
Still, Comey claims, the president asked him to drop the Bureau's investigation of Flynn, saying he was a 'good man' being needlessly targeted.
Ironically, Trump's recounting of his humiliation in front of May by Flynn is not included in Comey's book.
Trump fired Flynn three months before he sent Comey packing, following revelations that he had misled Vice President Mike Pence about his discussions with Russia's then-Ambassador to the U.S. Sergey Kislyak about U.S. sanctions.
The president blamed Flynn for failing to alert him promptly to a congratulatory call from a world leader, causing a delay for Trump in returning a message to an official whose name is redacted in the documents.
The memos reveal that days before Flynn's firing, then-White House chief of staff Reince Priebus asked Comey if Flynn's communications were being monitored under a secret surveillance warrant.
'Do you have a FISA order on Mike Flynn?' Priebus asked Comey, according to the memos, referring to an order under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act.
Comey said he 'paused for a few seconds and then said that I would answer here, but that this illustrated the kind of question that had to be asked and answered through established channels.'
Comey's response is redacted on the unclassified memos.
Trump repeatedly complained to FBI director James Comey in early 2017 that the Russia meddling investigation was a cloud over his young administration, weeks before firing him, leaked memorandums showed Thursday.
Trump 'said he was trying to run the country and the cloud of this Russia business was making that difficult,' Comey wrote in a memo on a conversation they had on March 30, 2017.
Flynn is a convicted felon after admitting lying to the FBI in a plea deal with Robert Mueller, the special counsel, which had made him a target of investigation. His lies were actually before the Mueller probe began.
Flynn - who had been fired by President Barack Obama as head of the Defense Intelligence Agency and retired as a three-star Army general - was said to have done the deal partly to protect his son, Mike Flynn Jr, and partly because of a lack of cash to defend himself.
Politico reported Friday that he is slowly making a come back in Republican politics.

71 year old man cleared of murder case after spending 45 years in prison

Richard Phillips, a 71-year-old Detroit man has been released from prison after spending over 45 years in custody.
Phillips had been wrongfully accused of being involved in a fatal shooting in 1971. A judge granted the prosecutor’s request to permanently drop the case against Phillips, whose conviction was erased last year.
He had been free on bond since December. Wayne County prosecutor, Kym Worthy said a new investigation by her office backed his claim that he had no role in a 1971 fatal shooting. Worthy said a key witness lied at his 1972 trial.  “There’s nothing I can say to bring back 40 years of his life,” Worthy said. “The system failed him. This is a true exoneration.”  Phillips has spent more years behind bars than any wrongfully incarcerated person in the country, his lawyer Gabi Silver.  She describes Phillips an “incredibly warm, engaging person” who just wants to pick up the pieces and live a quiet life.
Phillips told reporters that he has “never carried bitterness around, so I’m not a bitter man”, adding that one of his immediate goals was to reunite with his two children who were ages 2 and 4 when he went to prison in 1972.

China's 'Jack the Ripper' sentenced to death for raping, murdering 11 women and girls

A man who has been dubbed China’s “Jack the Ripper” was sentenced to death Friday for raping and murdering 11 women and girls during a 14-year spree.

Gao Chengyong, 54, was convicted of multiple counts of homicide, rape, robbery and mutilation of corpses after he admitted to killing 11 people between 1988 and 2002.
Authorities said Gao targeted young women in the northwest Baiyin city in Gansu Province and Boatour city in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Sky News reported. He followed them home to rape and kill them.
The youngest victim was just eight years old.
Ending a 28-year search, Gao was arrested in August 2016 at his own grocery store following a DNA test stemming from an unrelated crime committed by one of his relatives, the state television’s English channel reported.
“The suspect has a sexual perversion and hates women,” police said in 2004 after linking the crimes together. “He’s reclusive and unsociable, but patient.”

Nurse gets holiday from ITV after trekking 10 miles to work. Throughly deserved.

Ooops! Soon, though, she loses her balance and falls on top of her friends, who scream and laugh(VIDEO)

You know when you're trying to look cool, lip-syncing to a song like a rockstar in a music video, when something goes wrong and suddenly makes you glad there's not a camera rolling? Well, these girls weren't so lucky.
A group of high school cheerleaders from Winter Springs, Florida, decided to record themselves performing Ke$ha's We R Who We R while sitting in a parked car, clearly thinking they were about to make a cool clip for their social media pages.
But their choreographed routine didn't go exactly has planned, resulting in a goofy video that has since gone viral.

7-Yr-Old Girl Got a big Surprise at School when her Dad Returns From Deployment to visit her

There wasn't a dry eye in the house a few days ago when a military dad returned from deployment to surprise his seven-year-old daughter.
At an assembly on Tuesday at Okte Elementary School in Clifton Park, New York, young Natalie Plamondon's mother showed up to be a special guest reader.
She joined her to read the children's book "Hero Dad" to her classmates.

"My dad is an American soldier. My dad is my superhero," Natalie read aloud.
When the story was over, her dad - Lt. Col. Jean-Paul Plamondon - walked in and Natalie ran all the way across the room to give him a hug.
Plamondon was deployed to Kuwait and had not seen his family in nearly a year. His wife, Valerie, worked with the school to make the extra special homecoming a reality.
"I thought it was gonna be January 31st. I thought he was somebody else but then when I realized it was daddy, I just wanted to run and hug him," Natalie told Ainsley Earhardt.

Viral Tweet Of A Sexy Kangaroo Obstructing The Path to Public Bathroom Is Too Adorable For Twitter

Sometimes when you use a public bathroom, there's some sort of road block. Maybe there's a really long line, or the bathroom is temporarily closed for cleaning. But as everything is just a tad more wild in the land Down Under, one tourist ran into a kangaroo lying in a "come hither" position outside a national park restroom. And as the Twitterverse tends to take basically everything to the next level, tweets about this viral "sexy kangaroo" are straight up hilarious, and will have you hippity-hopping all the way to The Outback.
Sandrina Duniau, 30-year-old French tourist, found the "sexy" animal while traveling with her partner in Dec. 2017, News.com.au reports. Apparently, she had "fallen in love" with the wildlife in Australia... and I guess the wildlife was simultaneously falling in love with her. When the couple visited John Forrest National Park (just east of Perth), Duniau made a routine and typical trip to the bathroom — but her encounter was what many outside of Australia would probably consider to be atypical.
Upon running into the seductive 'roo who was casually relaxing outside the bathroom entrance, Duniau was initially a little frightened (look at those muscles!?). As what many might call "doing it for the 'gram," Duniau hastily snapped a pretty amazing photo. Soon to be Australia's next top model, the 'roo made modeling history outside that fateful national park bathroom.
Eventually, word got out about the hilarious and timely photo, and Duniau opened up to News.com.au, about her glorious encounter. She said,

As you can most likely imagine, the photo in question basically broke the internet. Like, almost as much as Kim Kardashian did when she balanced champagne on her butt. Well, maybe that's a little bit of an exaggeration (because nobody can beat Kim K), but reactions to the kangaroo's "sexy" photo did not disappoint in any way, shape, or form.

So has anyone signed this kangaroo yet, or am I just gonna have to write up a modeling contract for him myself? His modeling career is just taking off, and we're all anxiously awaiting his Vogue debut.
There's never a dull moment among Australia's kangaroo population, though, because this isn't the only hilarious kangaroo scandal to happen in recent history. You might remember that little incident in Melbourne last year when two kangaroos stopped traffic because they were having careless, wild sex in the middle of the street. Nobody asked to see it, but it was undoubtedly a wild sight.
So I guess it's no rumor that crazy kangaroo-related occurrences regularly happen in that mysterious land down under, whether it's a kangaroo striking a seductive pose outside the loo, or if it's two 'roo's gettin' down in the street. Or, when a kangaroo steals a jacket filled with a lot of money, and is also a very talented rapper (oh, wait... that's just the plot-line to the 2003 blockbuster, Kangaroo Jack.) Either way, these isolated incidents have definitely peaked our interest in seeing what other wild antics occur in the land down under, because we are definitely ready to spot "seductive" 'roo or two in our lifetime.
