Katy Perry and The Weeknd Reportedly Went on a Date Last Night

Katy Perry and The Weeknd were spotted having dinner together last night in Los Angeles. The two were seen arriving separately to Madeo restaurant in West Hollywood, according to People.

Perry kept to a neutral ensemble with a buttoned-up peacoat, nude pumps and hoop earrings, while The Weekend (AKA Abel Tesfaye) stuck to his usual denim jacket and dark jeans look.

The reason for the singers' dinner meeting is unknown, but the sighting is bound to stir up romance rumors nonetheless. Tesfaye is fresh off his breakup with Selena Gomez, who rekindled her romance with Justin Bieber shortly after the split.

The Weeknd has also reportedly reconnected with his ex, Bella Hadid, but they're not on romantic terms. Even though sources say they "still love" each other, the model is ultimately just hoping to be his friend for now. Tesfaye was also recently seen holding hands with Bieber's ex, Yovanna Ventura. Could Perry be his next love interest?

The Witness singer broke up with her famous boyfriend, Orlando Bloom, earlier this year after 10 months of dating. Their reps confirmed the couple was "taking respectful, loving space at this time," in a statement released in March.

It's also possible the two were just meeting to work on music together. Remember how Taylor Swift and Drake sparked dating rumors last year? It turned out the two were actually hitting the studio together and collaborating on some new music (which we've yet to hear). Perhaps Perry and Tesfaye are taking the same route.

Moving on! The Weeknd was photographed out with Justin Bieber‘s ex Yovanna Ventura on Friday, November 10, one day after he was spotted holding hands with the model.
A source who was at French Montana‘s birthday party on Thursday, November 9, tells IPRESSTV exclusively that the “Party Monster” singer, 27 — who recently split with Selena Gomez — got cozy with Ventura at the bash at a Beverly Hills mansion.
“The Weeknd was there hand in hand with Yovanna Ventura all night,” the source tells IPRESSTV. “They arrived together. They were holding hands. He was there for a solid two hours with her and everywhere they went they held hands.”
A second source tells IPRESSTV, “He was parading her around. He was trying to make it obvious that he was with someone. They were pretty affectionate and were together the entire night.”

The Weeknd (real name: Abel Tesfaye) stepped out again with Ventura on Friday night — the pair was photographed sitting in the back seat of an SUV as they left Hyde nightclub (a pal of Ventura’s sat in the front seat).

The Miami native, 21, dated Bieber back in 2015, shortly after he was linked to Kylie Jenner. The “Sorry” singer, 23, has now rekindled his relationship with Gomez, who split with The Weeknd at the end of October after dating for 10 months.

Bieber and the “Wolves” singer, 25, who dated on and off for three years until their split in 2014, reconnected after Gomez underwent a kidney transplant in June.
“He was concerned and, as a friend, checked in,” a Bieber source told IPRESSTV earlier this month. “They started hanging out again. They just care about each other.”
Another source told IPRESSTV  that while the “Starboy” singer “trusted Selena,” he “really didn’t trust Justin.” But an insider says that despite his feelings, Gomez and The Weeknd ended things amicably: “It wasn’t dramatic and it wasn’t about Justin.”

The Weeknd and Selena Gomez Visited an Aquarium and Hung Out with Jellyfish For Love


Selena Gomez and The Weeknd (whose real name is Abel Tesfaye) reunited this weekend in Tesfaye's hometown of Toronto, after spending a couple days apart post-Europe trip.





Their visit included a cute date at Ripley's Aquarium of Canada on Saturday, which Tesfaye documented thoroughly on his Instagram story and Instagram timeline.
Tesfaye may have taken venue inspo from his good friend Drake, who took Rihanna to the same exact place back when they were a thing last fall. Drake reportedly booked out the place on a Sunday night; he and Rihanna had dinner there and stayed until dawn.

That wasn't The Weeknd and Gomez's only extravagant date in Canada either: Tesfaye also rented out the entire VIP section of a movie theater so the two could see Get Out Thursday night. It's a move straight from Selena Gomez's ex (and fellow Canadian) Justin Bieber's playbook. Bieber went bigger and rented out the Staples Center in L.A. so he and Gomez could watch Titanic over dinner way back in 2011. Gomez and Tesfaye spent Thursday together before Gomez flew to New York on Friday to shoot a campaign for Coach.
She was back in Toronto on Saturday, when the two had their aquarium date. Fans believe Gomez flew back to L.A. Sunday for a friend's 25th birthday party.
Tesfaye, meanwhile, kicks off the South American leg of his tour which runs March 23 to April 2—whether that's time apart or another vacation together, only their Instagrams will tell.
